Remy's Ratatouille Adventure
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure also known as Ratatouille: L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy () is a motion-based trackless 3D dark ride, based on the 2007 Disney-Pixar animated film ''Ratatouille'', located at Disneyland Paris's Walt Disney Studios Park in France and at Walt Disney World's France Pavilion at Epcot. Disneyland Paris officially announced the attraction in March 2013. In both versions, the ride's dialogue alternates between English and French. History The attraction was revealed as part of internet rumours of an expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park's Toon Studio area. Toon Studio
Toon Studio is a land at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris, France. The land, formerly known as Animation Courtyard, received a revamp in 2007 to features a more colourful and "immersive," theming. In August of 2021, much of the land's Pixar attractions were rebranded under a new sub-area referred to as Worlds of Pixar. Developed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the new land was announced on January 11, 2005 by Euro Disney SCA, the owner and operator of Disneyland Resort Paris, as part of a new initiative to add new attractions to both theme parks made possible by a major financial restructuring. The new creative director for Walt Disney Imagineering, John Lasseter, has made it clear he is reviewing all concepts for attractions that have been definitely commissioned, and in particular the Toon Studio is an area he wants to expand upon. Pirates of the Caribbean is a dark ride at Disneyland, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris, and Shanghai Disneyland. The ride tells the story of a band of pirates in the West Indies islands around the Caribbean Sea in the 17th and 18th centuries with the saga of their voyages, troubles, and exploits. Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway is a trackless dark ride in Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, and forthcoming in Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The attraction—the first Mickey Mouse-themed ride-through attraction at a Disney theme park—is based on the stylized world from the Paul Rudish television series. The version of Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios was first announced at the D23 Expo in July 2017 as part of the unveiling of 23 improvements to Disney Parks, including four new rides across the theme parks. Trackless Dark Ride
A dark ride or ghost train is an indoor amusement ride on which passengers aboard guided vehicles travel through specially lit scenes that typically contain animation, sound, music and special effects. Appearing as early as the 19th century, such exhibits include tunnels of love, scary themes and interactive stories. Terminology In its most traditional form, the term ''dark ride'' refers to ride-through attractions with scenes that use black lights, whereby visible light is prevented from entering the space, and only show elements that fluoresce under ultraviolet radiation are seen by the riders. Bradley Henry Gerstenfeld (born April 14, 1960), known professionally as Brad Garrett, is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Lou Romano
Lou Romano (born April 15, 1972) is an American animator and voice actor. He did design work on ''Monsters, Inc.'' and ''The Incredibles'', and he provided the voices of Bernie Kropp in ''The Incredibles'', Snot Rod in ''Cars'' and Alfredo Linguini in ''Ratatouille''. Ratatouille ( , ), oc, ratatolha , is a French Provençal dish of stewed vegetables which originated in Nice, and is sometimes referred to as ''ratatouille niçoise'' (). Recipes and cooking times differ widely, but common ingredients include tomato, garlic, onion, courgette (zucchini), aubergine (eggplant, brinjal), capsicum (bell pepper), and some combination of leafy green herbs common to the region.
