Rekha Shah
Rekha Shah (born August 25, 1976) is a Canadian television executive and former actress, best known for her work on the internationally popular sketch comedy program ''You Can't Do That On Television''. She also appeared on the Nickelodeon show Fifteen, and hosted the 1995 season of The Space on TVOKids, before stepping behind the camera as a producer on ''Extreme Babysitting''. Shah is currently the Director of Canadian Sales for CBS Studios. TV career Acting Shah became a cast member on ''You Can't Do That On Television'' during the show's 7th season, first appearing in the 1986 "Garbage" episode, and last appearing in the 1989 "Pollution" episode. According to the official fansite, she was one of the few cast members who made the leap from the "old" cast to the "new" cast in 1989, and was offered a hosting role by show creator Roger Price, but declined. YTV (TV Channel)
YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. The channel was launched on September 1, 1988 by owners Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting upon launch. In 1995, Shaw Communications acquired CUC's 34% stake and in 1998, it acquired Rogers' remaining interest of the channel, before Shaw's media division was spun off to form Corus Entertainment in 1999. Roger Price (television Producer)
Roger Damon Price (born 1941) is a British former television producer, director and writer active in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. He has created children's television series in all three countries. He created the children's science fiction series ''The Tomorrow People'', ''Junior Points of View'', the British children's sketch variety shows ''You Must Be Joking!''
