''Keiser av en Dimensjon Ukjent'' (lit. Emperor of a Dimension Unknown) is the third full-length album from Norwegian solo artist Mortiis, which was released in 1995. It initially came on a golden CD, whereas the LP was a picture disc wrapped in a giant poster. This album was limited to 500 numbered copies. The LP was reissued for the US by The Ajna Offensive, with new artwork. It was limited to 300 copies, also coming with a booklet. It had previews of the then forthcoming book Secrets of My Kingdom. On January 9, 2007, the CD was once again reissued, this time on Projekt Records. Reisene Til Grotter Og Ødemarker ''Reisene Til Grotter Og Ødemarker'' (trans. "The Journeys to Grottoes and Wastelands") was also a music video released in 1996. This was the first video by Mortiis, and was filmed at Bohus Fortress in Sweden. Mortiis
Mortiis is an electronic band from Notodden, Norway fronted by Håvard Ellefsen, who is also known as the namesake of the band. The name is a misspelling of the word "mortis", which is the pronunciation used by the band. Mortiis started as the solo project of Ellefsen as a means to convey a story. This aspect was lost over time and Mortiis slowly formed into a band. Ellefsen previously played bass in the black metal band Emperor (1991–1992), prior to forming this project in 1993. The time he spent in his previous band laid the groundworks for mixing black metal elements with various electronic genres, with these being touched upon across each "era" of the band. Dungeon synth is a genre of electronic music that merges elements of black metal and dark ambient. The style emerged in the early 1990s, predominantly among members of the black metal scene, such as Mortiis, Burzum, Robert Fudali of Lord Wind and Graveland, Tomi Kalliola of Azaghal and Valar, Sigurd Wongraven of Wongraven and Satyricon, Andreas Bettinger of Grausamkeit, Silenius and Protector of Summoning, Die Verbannten Kinder Evas, Abigor, Pazuzu, and Grabesmond, Ray Heflin of Absu, and Equitant, among others. Cold Meat Industry was a Swedish independent record label established in 1987 by Roger Karmanik, which specialized in niche music genres such as dark ambient, death industrial, and neoclassical dark wave. History From its inception, Cold Meat Industry gained a reputation for introducing artists that were unique and musically innovative. The label also became known for its contributions to the Gothic and industrial scenes. The term "Cold Meat Industry" eventually became a musical genre of sorts, referring mostly to avant-garde artists who were influenced by industrial and dark ambient music. The Ajna Offensive
The Ajna Offensive is an American independent record label which releases extreme metal, experimental music and neofolk records, and books related to occultism, ritual work, magic theory and meta-history. The proprietor of the label is Tyler Davis, who had met a man with a music project called Plecid and who subsequently worked with Stephen O'Malley on the black metal fanzine ''Descent''. O'Malley was later involved with the development of The Ajna Offensive record label. Ajna, a Sanskrit word meaning command, is the third eye chakra, the sixth primary chakra in the body, according to Hindu tradition.
