''Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør'' (lit. The Spirit Who Rebelled) is the second full-length album by Norwegian solo artist Mortiis that was released in 1994, a year after his debut album, Født til å Herske, and is the predecessor to Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent. The album was released on CD and Gatefold, gatefold LP formats, with the latter being limited to 300 copies, which came with posters and postcards. The album was later reissued as a picture disc. On January 9, 2007, the CD was reissued on Projekt Records. It was also issued as a gatefold LP, limited to 300 numbered copies, with posters and four postcards. Mortiis
Mortiis is an electronic band from Notodden, Norway fronted by Håvard Ellefsen, who is also known as the namesake of the band. The name is a misspelling of the word "mortis", which is the pronunciation used by the band. Mortiis started as the solo project of Ellefsen as a means to convey a story. This aspect was lost over time and Mortiis slowly formed into a band. Ellefsen previously played bass in the black metal band Emperor (1991–1992), prior to forming this project in 1993. Dungeon synth is a genre of electronic music that merges elements of black metal and dark ambient. The style emerged in the early 1990s, predominantly among members of the black metal scene, such as Mortiis, Burzum, Robert Fudali of Lord Wind and Graveland, Tomi Kalliola of Azaghal and Valar, Sigurd Wongraven of Wongraven and Satyricon, Andreas Bettinger of Grausamkeit, Silenius and Protector of Summoning, Die Verbannten Kinder Evas, Abigor, Pazuzu, and Grabesmond, Ray Heflin of Absu, and Equitant, among others. Cold Meat Industry was a Swedish independent record label established in 1987 by Roger Karmanik, which specialized in niche music genres such as dark ambient, death industrial, and neoclassical dark wave. History From its inception, Cold Meat Industry gained a reputation for introducing artists that were unique and musically innovative. The label also became known for its contributions to the Gothic and industrial scenes. ''Født til å Herske'' (lit. "Born to rule") is Norwegian solo artist Mortiis's debut album, released on Malicious Records in 1994. It consists of one long song, split into two tracks. Due to misprints, several press runs of the CD state different labels. Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent
''Keiser av en Dimensjon Ukjent'' (lit. Emperor of a Dimension Unknown) is the third full-length album from Norwegian solo artist Mortiis, which was released in 1995. It initially came on a golden CD, whereas the LP was a picture disc wrapped in a giant poster. This album was limited to 500 numbered copies. The LP was reissued for the US by The Ajna Offensive, with new artwork. It was limited to 300 copies, also coming with a booklet. It had previews of the then forthcoming book Secrets of My Kingdom. On January 9, 2007, the CD was once again reissued, this time on Projekt Records. Reisene Til Grotter Og Ødemarker ''Reisene Til Grotter Og Ødemarker'' (trans. A gatefold cover or gatefold LP is a form of packaging for LP records that became popular in the mid-1960s. A gatefold cover, when folded, is the same size as a standard LP cover (i.e., a 12½ inch, or 32.7 centimetre square).
