Anders Reidar Kjellberg (19 April 1904 – 22 February 1978) was a Norwegian art historian and museum director. ''Store norske leksikon'' Biography Anders Reidar Kjellberg was born in Fredrikstad in Østfold county, Norway. Kjellberg took his final exams in 1924 and began studying theology. However, he soon found out that he was more interested in the history of science, art history and literary history. In 1934 he took a master's degree in art history at the University of Oslo. Reidar Särestöniemi (14 May 1925, Kittilä – 27 May 1981, Kittilä) was a Finnish painter from Finnish Lapland. He is considered one of the greatest Finland-Lappish artists in the entire history of Finland. Särestöniemi was born as the youngest child of Alma and Matti Kaukonen at the Särestöniemi farm near the Ounasjoki river in Kittilä. The family later renamed itself after the farm. Reidar Särestöniemi studied art in Helsinki from 1947 to 1951. After this he studied for three years in the famous Repin Institute. Särestöniemi has had many exhibitions all over the world, with the furthest being in Japan in 1980. The President of Finland awarded Särestöniemi the title of Professor of Arts in 1975. Reidar Omang (26 November 1897 – 15 October 1964) was a Norwegian historian, librarian and archivist. Reidar Omang was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. His father, Simen Oscar Fredrik Omang (1867-1953), was a noted botanist. Omang took matriculation from the Skien public school in 1916. He took his Cand.mag. degree at the University of Oslo in 1924 and Cand. philol. in 1930. He was a teacher in Telemark at Kviteseid from 1918 to 1919 and at Skien from 1919 to 1920. From 1923-1935 he was employed at the University of Oslo Library. During 1928-1935, he was also chief of the Manuscript Collection. From 1928 to 1945, he was librarian at the Norwegian Royal Palace.
