Regular Show (season 1)
The first season of American animated sitcom '' Regular Show'', created by J. G. Quintel, originally aired on Cartoon Network in the United States. Quintel created the series' pilot using characters from his comedy shorts for the canceled anthology series ''The Cartoonstitute''. He developed ''Regular Show'' from his own experiences in college. Simultaneously, several of the show's main characters originated from his animated shorts "2 in the AM PM" and "The Naïve Man from Lolliland." The season was produced by Cartoon Network Studios, and ran from September 6 to November 22, 2010. William Salyers
William Lewis Salyers (born August 16, 1964) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his vocal performances, such as Reverend Putty on ''Moral Orel'', Rigby on '' Regular Show'' and Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus in the 2018 video game '' Spider-Man''. Biography Salyers grew up in Pawhuska, Oklahoma and graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1982. Cartoonstitute
''The Cartoonstitute'' was a planned Cartoon Network project created by Cartoon Network's executive Rob Sorcher that would have been a showcase for animated shorts created without the interference of network executives and focus testing. It was headed by Craig McCracken (creator of ''The Powerpuff Girls'', ''Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'', ''Wander Over Yonder'' and ''Kid Cosmic'') and Rob Renzetti (creator of ''My Life as a Teenage Robot''). 39 shorts for the project were in development at Cartoon Network Studios, but only 14 of these were completed. Eventually, balancing 5 upcoming shows and adding another proved difficult and the project was scrapped. Of the shorts which were made, only '' Regular Show'' and ''Uncle Grandpa'' have been greenlit to become animated series. Mordecai (Regular Show)
These characters appear in the American animated television series ''Regular Show'', created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network. The series revolves around the daily lives of two 23-year-old friends, Mordecai (a blue jay), and Rigby (a raccoon). They work as groundskeepers at a park, and spend their days trying to avoid work and entertain themselves by any means. This is much to the chagrin of their boss Benson (a gumball machine) and their coworker Skips (a white mountain gorilla), but to the delight of park manager Pops (a lollipop). TV by the Numbers was a website devoted to collecting and analyzing television ratings data in the United States that operated from 2007 to 2020. It was a part of Nexstar Media Group's Zap2it television news/listings site. History An Internet and statistical analyst, Robert Seidman had previously worked for IBM and Charles Schwab, and published an online newsletter about the Internet and AOL before founding TV by the Numbers; Bill Gorman had been an AOL executive until 1998, and had read Seidman's column. Friends since the early 1990s when they met near Washington, D.C., both were fond of television, as Gorman loved numbers and Seidman enjoyed statistics relating to it; the subject of television ratings data entered into one of their conversations. Gorman was dismayed at being unable to find other blogs devoted solely to television data, and after a Google search confirmed this, he and Seidman thought of the idea for a website devoted solely to the subject. Brian Sheesley
Brian Sheesley (born April 14, 1967) is an American animation director who has worked on several comedy shows, including directing duties on ''The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy'', two episodes of ''The Critic'', nine episodes of '' Futurama'' and two episodes of ''King of the Hill''. Sheesley also worked as an animation timer on ''Rugrats Go Wild'' in 2003 and as an animator on '' A Wish for Wings That Work'' in 1991. In his earlier career Brian worked as a layout artist on ''The Ren & Stimpy Show''. Robert Alvarez
Robert James Alvarez (born January 22, 1948) is an American animator, storyboard artist, television director, and writer. Alvarez studied at the Chouinard Art Institute, which later became the California Institute of the Arts, graduating in 1971. He began his career as an assistant animator for the 1968 film '' Yellow Submarine''. Throughout his five decades in the animation industry, Alvarez has developed an extensive resume. Blogger is an American online content management system founded in 1999 which enables multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. Pyra Labs developed it before being acquired by Google in 2003. Metascore
Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review. Before being averaged, the scores are weighted according to a critic's popularity, stature, and volume of reviews. The website won two Webby Awards for excellence as an aggregation website. Post-It
A Post-it Note (or sticky note) is a small piece of paper with a re-adherable strip of glue on its back, made for temporarily attaching notes to documents and other surfaces. A low-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive allows the notes to be easily attached, removed and even re-posted elsewhere without leaving residue. Originally small yellow squares, Post-it Notes and related products are available in various colors, shapes, sizes and adhesive strengths. As of 2019, there are at least 26 documented colors of Post-it Notes. Although 3M's patent expired in 1997, "Post-it" and the original notes' distinctive yellow color remain registered company trademarks, with terms such as "repositionable notes" used for similar offerings manufactured by competitors.
