Brian Sheesley
Brian Sheesley (born April 14, 1967) is an American animation director who has worked on several comedy shows, including directing duties on ''The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy'', two episodes of ''The Critic'', nine episodes of '' Futurama'' and two episodes of ''King of the Hill''. Sheesley also worked as an animation timer on ''Rugrats Go Wild'' in 2003 and as an animator on '' A Wish for Wings That Work'' in 1991. In his earlier career Brian worked as a layout artist on ''The Ren & Stimpy Show''. Brian was an animation director and supervising director on '' Camp Lazlo'', and recently an animation director on '' Regular Show'', '' Sym-Bionic Titan'' and ''Uncle Grandpa''. He studied in the Character Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts. He also worked on ''The Simpsons'' in 1996, as an animation timer. An animation director is either the director in charge of all aspects of the animation process during the production of an animated film or television, and animated segment for a live action film or television show, or the animator in charge of correcting layouts and drawings. The difference between the two is largely the difference between the western and eastern animation industries. "Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?" is the fifth episode in the second season of the American animated television series '' Futurama'', and the 18th episode of the series overall. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on February 6, 2000. The episode is a parody of the ''Star Trek: The Original Series'' episode "Amok Time" and, in part, Cyrano de Bergerac. Plot Amy and Leela drag Fry and Bender to the gym, and Dr. Zoidberg tags along. While at the gym, Zoidberg behaves erratically and aggressively, and even develops a head fin. Back at the laboratory, Professor Farnsworth examines a restrained Zoidberg, and determines that it is mating season for Zoidberg's species. ''Fanboy & Chum Chum'' is an American computer-animated television series created by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. It is based on ''Fanboy'', an animated short created by Robles for Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Frederator Studios, which was broadcast on ''Random! Cartoons''. The series was first broadcast on October 12, 2009, on Nickelodeon as a preview, then officially premiered on November 6, 2009, after '' SpongeBob's Truth or Square''. ''Klutter'' is a segment that ran on '' Eek! Stravaganza'''s fourth season from 1995 to 1996 on the Fox Kids block. It was created by David Silverman and Savage Steve Holland. The segment was animated by the same people who used to work for Fox's ''The Critic'', which was canceled that year. The executive producers were David Silverman, Savage Steve Holland, and Phil Roman. Unlike the Eek and Thunderlizard segments, this was a Fox Children's Productions and Savage Studios co-production in association with Film Roman for animation. Six episodes were produced. Ownership of the series passed to Disney in 2001 when Disney acquired Fox Kids Worldwide. The series is not available on Disney+. In the episode, the Planet Express crew is sent to collect space honey, and find themselves in a harrowing battle with giant bees. The episode's plot originated from the writers wanting to do a story where it seemed as though a major character had died. "Future Stock" is the 21st episode in the third season of ''Futurama''. It originally aired on the Fox network in the United States on March 31, 2002. Plot Planet Express holds its stockholders' meeting, and the state of the business is not good. Uninterested in the meeting, Fry and Dr. Zoidberg wander off in search of food. Fry finds his way into a support group meeting for cryogenic clients who have been defrosted, where he meets a sleazy 1980s businessman (referred to only as "That Guy" throughout the episode, though named in the script as Steve Castle). Resembling Gordon Gekko, That Guy arranged to have himself frozen to await a cure for his terminal " boneitis", having gutted a company that was close to developing a cure for $100,000,000.
