Regina Narva
Regina Narva (née Rõtova; born 19 May 1970) is an Estonian chess Woman FIDE Master (2007). Biography Narva was born in Tallinn, the daughter of Estonian chess players Boris Rõtov (1937–1987) and Merike Rõtova (1936– ). In the Estonian Women's Chess Championship, Regina Narva has won gold (2011), silver (1989) and 5 bronze medals (1987, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2014). In 2013, she won the Estonian Rapid Chess Championship. 2014 Chess Olympiad
The 41st Chess Olympiad ( no, Den 41. Sjakkolympiade), organised by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) and comprising an open and women's tournament, as well as several events designed to promote the game of chess, took place in Tromsø, Norway, between 1–14 August 2014. The organiser was Chess Olympiad Tromsø 2014 AS on behalf of FIDE. A total number of 1,570 players participated at the Olympiad, with 881 in the men and 689 in the women's section. The number of participating teams was 177 from 172 countries in the open section and 136 from 131 countries in the women's section. The main competitive events were held at Mackhallen. Mai Narva (born October 22, 1999) is an Estonian chess player holding the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster. Biography Mai Narva was born in a chess player's family. She is Estonian chess master Boris Rõtov's and Lady International Correspondence Chess Grandmaster Merike Rõtova's granddaughter. Her father, Jaan Narva, is FIDE master, her mother is Regina Narva and her sister Triin Narva. Mai Narva won the Estonian Women's Chess Championship four times: 2014, 2016 (after play-off), 2017 and 2020. She also won silver medal in 2013 Estonian Women's Chess Championship and shared second place in 2015 Estonian Open Chess Championship. She is the granddaughter of Estonian chess champion Boris Rõtov and Woman International Correspondence Chess Grandmaster Merike Rõtova. Her father Jaan Narva is FIDE master, while both her mother Regina Narva and her sister Mai Narva have won the Estonian Women's Chess Championship.
