Regina Beach
Regina Beach is a town in south central Saskatchewan, located on Highway 54, close to where Highway 11 (which connects Saskatoon to Regina) intersects with the Qu'Appelle Valley. As Regina Beach rests on shores of the south end of Last Mountain Lake, it becomes an active lakeside resort town in summer. To the east is Buena Vista, their boundary marked by 16 Street. About south of town in the RM of Lumsden No. 189, is the Regina Beach Airport. Regina Beach Recreation Site Regina Beach Recreation Site () is a provincial recreation site on the western shore of Last Mountain Lake. The park runs along the lake's shore in the town of Regina Beach from Centre Street south to 16 Street. Meadow Lake Provincial Park
Meadow Lake Provincial Park is a northern boreal forest provincial recreational park along the Waterhen and Cold Rivers in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The park was founded on 10 March 1959, is the largest provincial park in Saskatchewan, and encompasses over 25 lakes in an area of 1,600 square kilometres. The park was named ''Meadow Lake'' after the city of Meadow Lake and Meadow Lake. The city and the lake are not in the park and are located about south-east of the nearest park entrance, which is about north of Dorintosh. The length of the park stretches about from Cold Lake on the Saskatchewan / Alberta border in the west to the eastern shore of Waterhen Lake in the east. In-season amenities and recreational opportunities inside the park include camping, hiking, cabin rentals, fishing, swimming, boat rentals, and outfitters. Greig Lake (Saskatchewan)
Greig Lake is a lake in Meadow Lake Provincial Park in the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan in the boreal forest ecozone of Canada. On the eastern shore of the lake is the resort village of Greig Lake and Greig Lake Campground. The south-west corner of the lake has a resort called Waters Edge Eco Lodge. The lake is accessed from Highway 224 at the south end. The entirety of Greig Lake is within Meadow Lake Provincial Park and it is located just north of the Waterhen River and north-east of Rusty and Kimball Lakes. The four Mustus Lakes, First, Second, Third, and Fourth, are to the west. Several small creeks flow into the lake and, at the south end, a creek flows out and into the Waterhen River via a fish trap . Candle Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in the central region of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Prior to the park's establishment in 1986, it was a provincial recreation site. Located in the Rural Municipality of Paddockwood No. 520, Candle Lake Provincial Park surrounds most of Candle and Torch Lakes in the boreal forest ecozone of Canada. The park has a variety of activities including camping, boating, fishing, swimming, mini golfing, hiking (with about 15 kilometres of trails), and golfing. Around the lake there are also boat launches and several marinas. Elbow ( 2016 population: ) is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Loreburn No. 254 and Census Division No. 11. Elbow was founded in 1909, near what is now Lake Diefenbaker. It is 8 km northwest of Mistusinne, 10 km northwest of Douglas Provincial Park and 16 km southeast of Loreburn. Lake Diefenbaker
Lake Diefenbaker is a reservoir and bifurcation lake in Southern Saskatchewan, Canada. It was formed by the construction of Gardiner Dam and the Qu'Appelle River Dam across the South Saskatchewan and Qu'Appelle Rivers respectively. Construction began in 1959 and the lake was filled in 1967. The lake is long with approximately of shoreline. It has a maximum depth of , while the water levels regularly fluctuate 3–9 metres (9–27 feet) each year. Lake Diefenbaker provides water for domestic irrigation and town water supplies. The flow of the two rivers is now regulated with a considerable portion of the South Saskatchewan diverted into the Qu'Appelle. Greenwater Lake Provincial Park
Greenwater Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located on the eastern side of the province in the Porcupine Hills on Highway 38. The closest town, Porcupine Plain, is about 28 kilometres to the north-east of the park visitor centre. Founded on 19 February 1932, Greenwater is one of the oldest provincial parks in Saskatchewan. The original six parks were established in 1931 and Greenwater Provincial Park was added one year later. In 1964, the park was expanded to its current size. The park is centred around two lakes, Greenwater and Marean, in the Porcupine Provincial Forest. Duck Mountain Provincial Park is a provincial park, located in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan 14 km east of the town of Kamsack and stretches about 12 kilometres eastward to the Saskatchewan / Manitoba boundary. The park covers approximately 150 square kilometres. Road access to the park is via Highway 57, which connects Saskatchewan Highway 5 to Manitoba Highway 83. Duck Mountain is a feature of the Manitoba Escarpment, and is a rise of forested land between the Saskatchewan prairie and the Manitoba lowlands. Buffalo Pound Provincial Park
Buffalo Pound Provincial Park is a provincial park located in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, about north-east of downtown Moose Jaw and north-west of the city of Regina. The park centres on Buffalo Pound Lake, a prairie lake formed from glaciation about 10,000 years ago. Seasonal recreation activities include swimming (two public beaches and a pool), camping, fishing, mini-golf, biking, hiking, and access to the Trans Canada Trail. The park also features a captive herd of buffalo, along with the Nicolle Flats Marsh where a variety of wildlife can be observed. The Battlefords Provincial Park
The Battlefords Provincial Park is a recreational provincial park in the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan. It is located north of the city of North Battleford in the RM of Meota No. 468 on Jackfish Lake. Highway 4 runs north from North Battleford to the park and Highway 204 runs through the park providing access to the park's amenities. The park is set in forested, rolling hills on Robinson Bay at the north-east corner of Jackfish Lake. Bayview Heights is a hamlet at the northern end of the park and the resort villages of Cochin (to the south) and Aquadeo (to the north) are on either side of the park.
