Florenz Regalado
Florenz Regalado (October 13, 1928 – July 24, 2015) was the 14th appointment by President Corazon Aquino to be an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from July 29, 1988 to October 13, 1998. Regalado is considered the most influential jurist and writer on Remedial Law by far, writing the most complete compendium in one volume as early as 1972. Biography He was born on October 13, 1928 in Concepcion, Iloilo. He graduated Far Eastern University with an Associate in Arts degree in 1949. A year later he entered San Beda College and finished magna cum laude in 1954 at San Beda College of Law, and received his Master of Laws degree from the University of Michigan in 1963. He remains the record holder for the highest average in the Philippine Bar Examinations, with his 1954 mark of 96.7%, where he was awarded the Memorial of Recognition. The Florenz D. Nayer Regalado, known mononymously as Nayer, is an American singer. She gained recognition in 2011 after being featured on Pitbull's hit single "Give Me Everything", and releasing her single " Suave (Kiss Me)" featuring Pitbull and Mohombi which was a success in Europe and the Middle East. Her other known collaborations include songs with Ne-Yo, Enrique Iglesias, Lil Wayne, Usher, Fonseca, Juan Magan, Yomil (of the Cuban duo Yomil y el Dany), Jean-Roch and Melissa. Peter de Regalado ( es, San Pedro Regalado; Latin ''Regalatus'') (1390 – 30 March 1456) was a Franciscan (friar minor) and reformer. Peter de Regalado was born at Valladolid, Spain. His parents were of noble birth and conspicuous for their wealth and virtue. Having lost his father in his early youth, he was piously educated by his mother. At the age of ten years Peter begged to be admitted into the Conventual Franciscans, which favour was granted him three years later in the convent of his native town. In 1404, he became one of the first disciples of Pedro de Villacreces, who in 1397 had introduced into Spain the reform of the observance. In the newly founded convent at Aguilera, Peter found a life of solitude, prayer, and poverty. Héctor José Regalado (January 29, 1943 – November 4, 2010) was a Venezuelan Latin music bandleader, percussionist, composer and educator. He played professionally under the name Rudy Regalado. Tomás Pedro Regalado y Valdez (born May 24, 1947) is a Cuban American politician and former broadcast journalist who served as the 42nd mayor of Miami, Florida, from 2009 to 2017. Victor Regalado (born 15 April 1948) is a Mexican professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Early life Regalado was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Amateur career As an amateur, he played in tournaments in the San Diego, California area just across the border from his home. He represented Mexico twice in the amateur worlds, the Eisenhower Trophy.
