Recording The Angel
Recording the Angel was a project by the band Depeche Mode to record the concerts on the final two legs of their 2005–06 concert tour, Touring the Angel. The recording was done by London-based company Live Here Now. Of the 46 shows that took place, 43 were recorded and made available on the band's website for direct download or on double CD via mail order. All the issued CDs featured the same artwork (cover and booklet), differing only in the band logo and the 'Recording The Angel' title, which was embossed with a different colour metal foil for each show, and in the setlist, which was printed on an extra white card, and the venue and show date printed on the front and back covers and on the discs themselves. "World in My Eyes" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released on 17 September 1990 as the fourth and final single from their seventh studio album, '' Violator'' (1990). The song peaked at number two in Denmark and Spain, number 17 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 52 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Background "Martin did the demo on his own," recalled Andy Fletcher. "I don't remember it standing out when we heard it then. But somehow, in the studio, it all came together brilliantly… Whenever I'm asked which of our tracks is my favourite, I always say 'World in My Eyes'." Arena Monterrey is an indoor arena in Monterrey, Mexico. It is primarily used for shows, concerts and indoor sports like indoor soccer, arena football and basketball. It used to be the home arena of the Monterrey Fury indoor soccer team and the Fuerza Regia, a professional basketball team in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional; the Monterrey La Raza, a team in the NISL; and the Monterrey Steel, an indoor American football team in the National Arena League. The Arena Monterrey is owned by Publimax S.A. de C.V. (TV Azteca Northeast), part of the Avalanz Group, who owns 80% and by TV Azteca who owns 20%. "Just Can't Get Enough" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was their third single, released on 7 September 1981, a month before the release of their debut studio album, '' Speak & Spell''. It was recorded during the summer of that year at Blackwing Studios, and was the band's first single to be released in the United States, on 18 February 1982. A riff-driven synth-pop song, "Just Can't Get Enough" was the final single to be written by founding member Vince Clarke, who left the band in November 1981. The single version of "Just Can't Get Enough" is the same version that appears on the UK version of ''Speak & Spell''. The 12-inch single featured a "Schizo Mix", which is an extended version with additional synth parts adding a sinister feel to the track. This version appears on the US version of ''Speak & Spell'', the UK re-release of ''Speak & Spell'', the re-release of ''The Singles 81→85'' and ''Remixes 81–04''.
