Recording The Angel
Recording the Angel was a project by the band Depeche Mode to record the concerts on the final two legs of their 2005–06 concert tour, Touring the Angel. The recording was done by London-based company Live Here Now. Of the 46 shows that took place, 43 were recorded and made available on the band's website for direct download or on double CD via mail order. All the issued CDs featured the same artwork (cover and booklet), differing only in the band logo and the 'Recording The Angel' title, which was embossed with a different colour metal foil for each show, and in the setlist, which was printed on an extra white card, and the venue and show date printed on the front and back covers and on the discs themselves. "World in My Eyes" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released on 17 September 1990 as the fourth and final single from their seventh studio album, '' Violator'' (1990). The song peaked at number two in Denmark and Spain, number 17 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 52 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Background "Martin did the demo on his own," recalled Andy Fletcher. "I don't remember it standing out when we heard it then. Arena Monterrey is an indoor arena in Monterrey, Mexico. It is primarily used for shows, concerts and indoor sports like indoor soccer, arena football and basketball. "Just Can't Get Enough" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was their third single, released on 7 September 1981, a month before the release of their debut studio album, '' Speak & Spell''. It was recorded during the summer of that year at Blackwing Studios, and was the band's first single to be released in the United States, on 18 February 1982. A riff-driven synth-pop song, "Just Can't Get Enough" was the final single to be written by founding member Vince Clarke, who left the band in November 1981. The single version of "Just Can't Get Enough" is the same version that appears on the UK version of ''Speak & Spell''. The 12-inch single featured a "Schizo Mix", which is an extended version with additional synth parts adding a sinister feel to the track. Leave In Silence
"Leave in Silence" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released as the third single from their second studio album, ''A Broken Frame'' (1982), on 16 August 1982. Recorded at Blackwing Studios, the single became the band's fifth UK Top 20 hit, peaking at No. 18. It was the first Depeche Mode single in the UK to use the "Bong" catalogue number system, which they used until "Heaven" in 2013. Three versions of the track were released on the 7" and 12" singles, while a fourth cut, running at four minutes and fifty-one seconds, was released on ''A Broken Frame''. The music video for "Leave in Silence" was directed by Julien Temple, and features the band breaking things on a conveyor belt and talking to each other while wearing face paint. Foro Sol
Foro Sol is a sports and entertainment venue built in 1993 inside the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in eastern Mexico City. It is located near the Mexico City International Airport and is operated by Grupo CIE. The venue was originally built for staging large music concerts. Initially called the Autódromo, it could accommodate up to 50,000 people. From 2000 to 2014, it was used as a baseball stadium as well, hosting the Diablos Rojos del México and Tigres de México. Foro Sol is the second largest concert venue in Mexico City; the largest, Estadio Azteca, has a capacity of 105,064. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly called the Coachella Festival or simply Coachella) is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.
