Milton Reckord
Milton Atchison Reckord (December 28, 1879 – September 8, 1975) was a lieutenant general in the National Guard of the United States. He also served as Adjutant General of the State of Maryland. Early life Reckord was born to John and Lydia (Zimmerman) Reckord at their home in Harford County, Maryland. He commenced work at his father's milling plant in 1896 upon his graduation from Bel Air High School. Military career Reckord expressed desire to serve in the military, but, at the request of his mother, delayed entry into service until he turned 21. He enlisted in Company D, 1st Maryland Infantry, Maryland National Guard on February 15, 1901, and would eventually rise to command the same company when he was commissioned as a captain in December 1904. As a major, in 1916, Reckord was given command of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Maryland Infantry, which deployed to the Mexican border and served in the Mexican Expedition commanded by Gen. John J. Barry Reckord
Barrington John Reckord (19 November 1926 – 20 December 2011), known as Barry Reckord, was a Jamaican playwright, one of the earliest Caribbean writers to make a contribution to theatre in Britain. His brother was the actor and director Lloyd Reckord, with whom he sometimes worked. Early years and education Barrington John Reckord was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where he grew up in Vineyard Town with his three siblings: two brothers, Carol and Lloyd, and a sister Cynthia. He attended Kingston College and after matriculation went on to study theology at St Peter's College in 1948. He left the island in 1950 after winning an Issa Scholarship to Cambridge University, where he read for a degree at Emmanuel College, graduating in 1953. Jamie Vincent Junior Reckord (born 9 March 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a full back for Yeovil Town. He started his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers and during his time there had spells on loan with Northampton Town, Scunthorpe United, Coventry City, Plymouth Argyle and Swindon Town. Career Wolverhampton Wanderers Reckord joined Wolverhampton Wanderers academy in December 2001 before being given a scholarship. Then in 2010, Reckord signed his first professional contract at the club. In May 2011, Reckord signed a 12-month contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2012. Lloyd Reckord (26 May 1929 – 8 July 2015) was a Jamaican actor, film maker, and stage director who lived in England for some years.
