Reborn (Northern Kings Album)
''Reborn'' is the first full-length album by Finnish heavy metal cover supergroup Northern Kings, released on October 31, 2007. The album sold over 17,000 copies in Finland alone and thus was certified gold. Two singles were released from this album: " We Don't Need Another Hero" (Tina Turner cover, from the soundtrack of ''Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome'') and "Hello" ( Lionel Richie cover). A music video was also produced for the first single. Northern Kings
Northern Kings is a Finnish symphonic metal cover band, cover supergroup, made up of four well known musicians: Jarkko Ahola from Teräsbetoni, ex-Dreamtale, Marko Hietala from Tarot (band), Tarot, ex-Nightwish, Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica and Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto from Charon (band), Charon and Harmaja (band), Harmaja. Their first single, "We Don't Need Another Hero" (originally performed by Tina Turner), was released in 2007, followed by their debut album ''Reborn (Northern Kings album), Reborn''. In late 2008, their second album ''Rethroned'' was released, headlined by the single "Kiss from a Rose" (originally performed by Seal (musician), Seal). "Don't Stop Believin' is a song by American rock band Journey (band), Journey. It was released in October 1981 as the second single from the group's seventh studio album, ''Escape (Journey album), Escape'' (1981), released through Columbia Records. "Ashes to Ashes" is a song by English singer-songwriter David Bowie, originally released on 1 August 1980 as the lead single from his 1980 album '' Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)''. "Rebel Yell" is a song by English-American rock musician Billy Idol. It is the title track of his 1983 album of the same name, and was released as the album's lead single on 24 October 1983. Toni Kristian "Tony" Kakko (born 16 May 1975) is a Finnish musician, composer and vocalist. He is known as the vocalist, primary songwriter, and creative lead of the band Sonata Arctica since 1996. Biography Kakko was born in Kemi, Finland and joined Sonata Arctica in 1996, after studying keyboards for two years and singing informally in local festivals. He initially performed both the keyboards and the vocals, but after the release of the band's first album, decided to concentrate on singing with the joining of Mikko Härkin.
