''Re.'' is the third studio album by Japanese pop music, pop singer Aya Ueto. It was released on December 8, 2004 on Pony Canyon, Flight Master. Background ''Re.'' was released only nine months after her second album and unlike her previous efforts, it includes only eleven tracks. The album is mostly made up of winter ballads. The album title, ''Re.'', is meant to designate a "response" to her previous album, ''Message (Aya Ueto album), Message''. Chart performance ''Re.'' peaked at #11 on the Oricon Daily Albums Chart and debuted at #19 on the Weekly Albums Chart with 19,017 copies sold. , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. Tetsurō Oda
is a Japanese composer, record producer, and singer-songwriter. Oda gained prominence as a songwriter in Japan during the late 1980s. He composed over 50 top-ten hit singles on the Japanese Oricon chart during the 1990s, including 12 that have sold over 1 million copies. At the commercial peak of his career, Oda produced a string of popular hit songs with artists such as Zard, Wands, Deen, and Field of View. He also discovered and collaborated with Nanase Aikawa, one of the best-selling Japanese female pop icons from the latter half of the 1990s. is the tenth single by Japanese recording artist Aya Ueto. It was released on November 17, 2004, as the third and final single from Ueto's third studio album '' Re.''. "Usotsuki" was initially scheduled to be released on October 27, 2004, but was eventually postponed for three weeks. The single was released in two formats: the limited edition, which includes a bonus DVD featuring the music video for "Usotsuki," and standard CD-only edition. Overview "Usotsuki" is Ueto's first single without a tie-in since " Binetsu" (2003). The title track was written and produced by singer-songwriter Tetsurō Oda, marking their fourth consecutive collaboration.
