Raúl Guerra Garrido
Raúl Guerra Garrido (4 April 1935 – 2 December 2022) was a Spanish writer. He was the recipient of the 1975 Premio Nadal for ''Lectura insólita de El Capital'' and the 1984 Premio Planeta de Novela for ''La guerra del Wolfram''. Premio Nadal
Premio Nadal is a Spanish literary prize awarded annually by the publishing house Ediciones Destino, part of Planeta. It has been awarded every year on 6 January since 1944. The Josep Pla Award for Catalan literature is given at the same ceremony. The current monetary award stand at €18,000 for the winner and since 2010 there has been no runner-up. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious Spanish literary awards. Premio Planeta De Novela
The Premio Planeta de Novela is a Spanish literary prize, awarded since 1952 by the Spanish publisher Grupo Planeta to an original unpublished novel written in Spanish. It is one of about 16 literary prizes given by Planeta. Financially, it is the most valuable literary award in the world for an author or book, with the winner receiving €1,000,000. It was created by José Manuel Lara Hernández in 1952 and is awarded on 15 October, St Teresa's day, Teresa being the name of Lara's wife. Since 1974 there has also been an award to the runner up, which now stands at €150,000. Criticism In recent years its credibility has been called into question, with the first prize often awarded to authors published by Planeta, and the second to less known authors. Order Of Constitutional Merit
The Order of Constitutional Merit is a civil order of merit established by royal decree on 18 November 1988. The order is granted those who have carried out activities in service of the Spanish Constitution and its values and established principles. It may be granted to people and groups both public or private, Spanish or foreign. Recipients are treated as an ''Excellency''. Appearance The order has a distinctive oval medal, made of sterling silver with gold plating. The obverse is the coat of arms of Spain on a blue background and the legend ''Constitutional Merit''. Premio Nacional De Las Letras Españolas
The Premio Nacional de las Letras Españolas or National Prize for Spanish Literature is one of several National Prizes awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
