Ray McCoy is an Australian broadcaster and country music radio personality from Tamworth, New South Wales. He was a former sports news presenter on Prime7 Newcastle, New South Wales, Newcastle and is currently the morning presenter on 2YOU, 88.9 FM Tamworth, as well as hosting the 2YOU, American Country Music Countdown. Early life Ray McCoy was born to Doreen and Killer McCoy and is a triplet. He was raised in Muswellbrook, New South Wales, Muswellbrook before moving to Penrith, New South Wales, Penrith and then to Gunnedah, New South Wales, Gunnedah but resides in Tamworth, New South Wales. Muswellbrook ( ) is a town in the Upper Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia, about north of Sydney and north-west of Newcastle. Geologically, Muswellbrook is situated in the northern parts of the Sydney basin, bordering the New England region. Brothers3 are an Australian country music band from Mudgee, New South Wales. The band consists of brothers Makirum, Shardyn and Tayzin Fahey-Leigh. In 2014, Brothers3 placed third on the sixth season of ''The X Factor Australia''. Early life Brothers3 is made up of siblings Makirum, Shardyn and Tayzin Fahey-Leigh. Their mother Alita Fahey is also a singer, as well as a former actress and television reporter. The band's father Stephen died from a heart attack on 25 December 2006.
