Ray Lonnen
Raymond Stanley Lonnen (18 May 1940 – 11 July 2014) was an England, English stage and television actor. His most prominent roles include Willie Caine in the ITV cult classic Cold War, Cold War-era spy drama series, ''The Sandbaggers'' (1978–80), and also as Harry Brown in the television miniseries ''Harry's Game'' (1982). Early life Lonnen was born in Bournemouth, (then in Hampshire) now a municipal borough in the county of Dorset where he attended the Stourfield School and the Hampshire School of Acting. At 19 he gained his first professional acting job at a theatre in Belfast. Bournemouth
Bournemouth () is a coastal resort town in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole council area of Dorset, England. ''Zeppelin'' is a 1971 British World War I action-drama directed by Étienne Périer in Panavision and Technicolor. The film stars Michael York, Elke Sommer and Anton Diffring. ''Zeppelin'' depicts a fictitious attempt to raid Britain in a German Zeppelin to steal or destroy ''Magna Carta'' from its hiding place in one of Scotland's castles. The Brief (TVS)
''The Brief'' is a British drama series produced for ITV by Television South (TVS) at its Southampton studios. The thirteen episodes were broadcast between 26 June and 18 September in 1984. The series was mostly written by Ray Jenkins, produced by Rex Firkin and executive produced by James Gatward. The directors were Frank Cox, Richard Martin, John Frankau and Mike Gibbon. Overview Ray Lonnen played the role of barrister Lucas Hellier, who goes to Germany to defend a British soldier accused of defecting to the East. ''Hammer House of Horror'' is a British television series made in 1980. An anthology series created by Hammer Films in association with Cinema Arts International and ITC Entertainment, it consists of 13 hour-long episodes, originally broadcast on ITV. Each self-contained episode features a different kind of horror. These vary from witches, werewolves and ghosts to devil-worship and voodoo, but also include non-supernatural horror themes such as cannibalism, confinement and serial killers. A cult following refers to a group of fans who are highly dedicated to some person, idea, object, movement, or work, often an artist, in particular a performing artist, or an artwork in some medium.
