Ravage 2099
Ravage 2099 (Paul-Phillip Ravage) is a fictional character, a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Publication history Ravage was created by writer Stan Lee and penciler Paul Ryan in 1992 for Marvel Comics' Marvel 2099 imprint. Ravage’s first full appearance was in ''Ravage 2099'' #1, which was released alongside other Marvel 2099 universe titles ''Spider-Man 2099'', ''Doom 2099'', and '' Punisher 2099''. Unlike the other titles, Ravage was original, not a re-imagined version of an existing character. The series ran for 33 issues cover-dated December 1992 to August 1995. Paul Ryan (cartoonist)
Paul Ryan (September 23, 1949 – March 7, 2016) was an American comic artist. Ryan worked extensively for Marvel Comics and DC Comics on a number of super-hero comic book titles. He is best known for his 1991 to 1996 run as penciler on ''Fantastic Four'', which represents his longest association with an individual comic book series. From 2005 until his death in 2016, Ryan penciled and inked the daily newspaper comic strip ''The Phantom'' for King Features Syndicate. Biography Early years Paul Ryan was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, in 1949. He attended St. Polycarp Grammar School in Somerville, and graduated from St. Mary of the Annunciation High School in 1967. ''The Punisher 2099'' is a comic book series following the account of Jake Gallows (the Punisher) in the year 2099 in an alternate Marvel Universe. The majority of the issues were written by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner, with art by Tom Morgan. The rest were written by Chuck Dixon. The series ran from February 1993 through November 1995 with a total of 34 issues. José Delbo
José Delbo (born December 9, 1933) is an Argentine comics artist. He is best known for his work on ''Wonder Woman'' for DC Comics and '' The Transformers'' for Marvel Comics. Career José Delbo became a professional comics artist at the age of 16 working for the Argentine ''Poncho Negro'' series. Due to political instability in Argentina, he moved to Brazil in 1963 and then to the United States two years later. His early work for the U.S. market included ''Billy the Kid'' for Charlton Comics. Grant Miehm is a Canadian illustrator who has worked for a number of different American comics publishers. Career Miehm's work began appearing in the mid-1980s, in various titles produced by independent publishers, beginning with '' Elementals'' #15 (July 1987) from Comico: The Comic Company. ''The Press Democrat'', with the largest circulation in California's North Bay, is a daily newspaper published in Santa Rosa, California. History The newspaper was founded in 1897 by Ernest L. Patrick Eamon Mills (born 1949) is an English comics writer and editor who, along with John Wagner, revitalised British boys comics in the 1970s, and has remained a leading light in British comics ever since. He has been called "the godfather of British comics". His comics are notable for their violence and anti-authoritarianism. Joey Cavalieri is an American writer and editor of comic books. He is best known for his work on the characters Green Arrow and Huntress as well as the co-creation of Helena Bertinelli, the third Huntress, for DC Comics.
