''Raththa Dhanam'' () is a 1988 Indian Tamil language film, directed by Sivachandran and produced by himself and Lakshmi. The film stars Prabhu, Gautami, Sadhana, Lakshmi and Sivachandran. The film had musical score by Gangai Amaran and was released on 10 September 1988. An interesting feature in this film is the names of Prabhu and his two friends are Chinnaya, Thangavelu and Shanmugam – Chinnaya being Prabhu's grandfather (Nadigar thilagam's father), Thangavelu and Shanmugam being Nadigar Thilagam's real life brothers. Sivachandran
Narayanan, better known by his stage name Sivachandran, is an Indian actor, director, and writer who was active in Tamil cinema mostly in the 1980s. Career Sivachandran was originally offered to act in ''Kizhakke Pogum Rail'' (1978), but declined. He made his film debut in ''Pattina Pravesam'' (1977) as one of the lead actors. He later starred in ''Annapoorani'' (1978) with R. Muthuraman in a negative role. He went on to star in notable films include ''Aval Appadithan'' (1978) and ''Polladhavan (1980 film), Polladhavan'' (1980). He made his directorial debut with ''En Uyir Kannamma'' (1988) and went on to direct several films with Prabhu (actor), Prabhu. Personal life Sivachandran was born as Narayanan, in Valparai, in Coimbatore district. He changed his name to Sivachandran and started his acting career. Pandu (actor)
Pandu (19 February 1947 – 6 May 2021) was an Indian Tamil actor and graphic designer who appeared in many comedy roles in Tamil cinema. He made his acting debut in the film ''Maanavan'' (1970). A Doctor of Philosophy graduate in arts from France, he was also a visual artist who founded Capital Letters, a graphic designing company. He most notably designed the party symbol and logo of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. His brother Idichapuli Selvaraj had also previously appeared in films as a comedian. Career After schooling, he first hesitated to pursue Diploma in Arts as it had five-year duration. But after his teacher's insistence, he wrote the entrance exam for Arts & Design and cleared with first class and enrolled in a famous Arts & Design institute at Baroda.
