Rasta Knast
Rasta Knast is a German punk band founded in the city of Celle, Germany in 1997. The band name is a playful reference to the Swedish punk band Asta Kask, known as a foundational band of Swedish punk rock, and the musical genre trallpunk. Rasta Knast's music is in the musical style of trallpunk, but generally uses German-language lyrics rather than Swedish-language lyrics. They have covered songs from Swedish punk bands Asta Kask, Radioaktiva Räker, and the Troublemakers. Rasta Knast has released four studio albums, the last two of which are on the German punk label Plastic Bomb, associated with Plastic Bomb Fanzine (established 1993). They have sold more than 30,000 copies of their albums. Rasta Knast have toured nationally in Germany as well as Sweden, Norway, Brasil, Japan, England, Ireland, Russia, and Spain. Celle
Celle () is a town and capital of the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The town is situated on the banks of the river Aller, a tributary of the Weser, and has a population of about 71,000. Celle is the southern gateway to the Lüneburg Heath, has a castle ('' Schloss Celle'') built in the Renaissance and Baroque style and a picturesque old town centre (the ''Altstadt'') with over 400 timber-framed houses, making Celle one of the most remarkable members of the German Timber-Frame Road. From 1378 to 1705, Celle was the official residence of the Lüneburg branch of the dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg ( House of Welf) who had been banished from their original ducal seat by its townsfolk. Hass is a German punk band founded in 1978 in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Members are from the cities of Marl and Recklinghausen. Their music is categorized as Deutschpunk, and the lyrics are generally politically motivated. Hass is known for their anti-fascist position, exemplified in the song ''Lasst die Glatzen platzen'' (English translation: "Let the skin-heads break open"). They have released ten full-length albums, three EPs, and four singles. History As a band founded in 1978, Hass is one of the first Deutschpunk bands.
