Rashid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa
Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa (born 1954) is a member of the Bahraini royal family and since 2004 has been the minister of interior of Bahrain. Family Rashid is the only son of Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, son of Ahmad bin Muhammad Al Khalifa with Saeda, son of Muhammad bin Isa Al Khalifa Al Haj, son of Isa ibn Ali Al Khalifa ruler of Bahrain. His son, Abdullah bin Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, was appointed Bahrain's ambassador to the United States in April 2017. He replaced another member of the royal family, Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Rashed Al Khalifa, who in 2013 replaced Houda Nonoo, who had served in the post since 2008. The Ministry of the Interior is responsible for law enforcement and public safety in Bahrain. The headquarters of the ministry is the Diwan Fort (also known as Manama Fort) in Manama, colloquially referred to as "al-gal'aa". Bahrain Defence Force
The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) is the military force of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Bahrain Defence Force is under direct command and leadership of a commander-in-chief who holds the rank of field marshal. The Government has a Minister of Defence Affairs responsible of BDF representation in the Cabinet. It numbers about 18,000 personnel and consists of the Royal Bahraini Air Force, Royal Bahraini Army, Royal Bahraini Navy and the Royal Guard. Lieutenant General
Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a three-star military rank (NATO code OF-8) used in many countries. The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages, where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second-in-command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. In modern armies, lieutenant general normally ranks immediately below general and above major general; it is equivalent to the navy rank of vice admiral, and in air forces with a separate rank structure, it is equivalent to air marshal. A lieutenant general commands an army corps, made up of typically three army divisions, and consisting of around 60 000 to 70 000 soldiers (U.S.). Shīʿa Islam or Shīʿīsm is the second-largest branch of Islam. Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa ( ar, حمد بن عيسى بن سلمان آل خليفة '; 28 January 1950) is King of Bahrain since 14 February 2002, after ruling as Emir of Bahrain from 6 March 1999. Major general (abbreviated MG, maj. gen. and similar) is a military rank used in many countries. It is derived from the older rank of sergeant major general. The disappearance of the "sergeant" in the title explains the apparent confusion of a lieutenant general outranking a major general, whereas a major outranks a lieutenant. Houda Ezra Ebrahim Nonoo ( ar, هدى عزرا نونو; born 7 September 1964) served as the Bahraini Ambassador to the United States from 2008 to 2013.
