Ranjith (director)
Ranjith Balakrishnan (born 5 September 1964) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist, producer, and actor who works in Malayalam cinema. Ranjith made his directorial debut in 2001 with '' Ravanaprabhu'', the sequel to '' Devaasuram''. His films ''Thirakkatha'' and ''Indian Rupee'' won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam in 2008 and 2011 respectively."56th National Film Awards"

Balussery is a major developing town located about 25 km northeast of Kozhikode city and lies on the sides of State Highway 34. It is one of the largest 140 assembly constituencies in Kerala and one of the 12 block Panchayats in Kozhikode district. Balussery is the Northeast side entry of Calicut city.
