''Rang'' (color) is a Tulu film directed by Suhan Prasad and Vismaya Vinayak starring Arjun Kapikad, Deekshitha Acharya, Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Gopinath Bhat. Famous Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever appears in guest role. Rang is produced under the banner of Kateeleshwari Combines. Plot The film is about two friends who join an engineering college in Mangalore. The hero (Arjun Kapikad) has a dark past which troubles him and is suffering from a mental disorder due to this. Dr Devadas Kapikad is a Tulu film and theatre actor, director, writer, producer, lyricist and singer. He has also acted in some Kannada films. He owns a drama troupe called Cha-parka. Naveen D Padil
Naveen D. Padil (born 11 November 1969) is an Indian theatre and film actor who has performed in over a thousand plays mostly in Tulu language. Known widely in the circles of Tulu theatre from his acting performances as a "Master of Comedy and Tragedy", he is called "Kusalda Arase" (''The King of Comedy''). He is known mainly for his portrayal of comical characters. Padil along with Devadas Kapikad and Aravind Bolar formed a famous trio that appeared in Tulu comedy plays during the 1990s and early 2000s. Career Padil got his break in films with the 1993 Malayalam film ''Vidheyan'' directed by the Adoor Gopalakrishnan. In the late 2000s, alongside his theatre career, Padil's film career took off as he began appearing in Tulu films primarily. Bhojaraj Vamanjoor is an Indian actor, who predominantly works in Tulu language, Tulu theatre and Tulu Cinema, Tulu film industry. Vamanjoor is also a Yakshagana Artist. He is one of the active members of the Tulu language, Tulu drama troupe ''"Cha Parka Kalavidher Kudla"'' along with Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D. Padil and Aravind Bolar. Manikanth Kadri
Manikanth Kadri is an Indian film score, soundtrack composer and singer. He has predominantly scored music for Kannada as well as several Telugu, Tamil, Tulu, and Malayalam films. He is the son of legendary saxophonist Kadri Gopalnath. Career Manikanth started out his career by composing for jingles and devotional albums. He also composed for a title track of a Malayalam tele-serial ''Annu Mazhayayirunnu'' and won the Kerala State Award for best music. He released his first instrumental album called ''Dream Journey'' in the year 2001 and also tasted success. He also scored for background for an English feature film ''Tantric Journal''. Johnny Lever (born John Prakash Rao Janumala; 14 August 1957) is an Indian actor and popular comedian who is known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is one of the first stand-up comedians in India.
