Rana Foroohar
Rana Aylin Foroohar (née Dogar; born March 4, 1970) is an American author, business columnist and an associate editor at the ''Financial Times''. She is also CNN's global economic analyst. Life and career Foroohar was born Rana Aylin Dogar in Frankfort, Indiana, graduating from Frankfort Senior High School in 1988. Her father Aygen Erol Dogar is a Turkish immigrant and an engineer who started a small manufacturing business in the Midwest. Her mother Ann was a school teacher, and herself the daughter of immigrants from Sweden and England. In 1992, Foroohar graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in English literature. Foroohar spent thirteen years at ''Newsweek'', as an economics and foreign affairs editor and as a London-based correspondent covering Europe and the Middle East. Frankfort, Indiana
Frankfort is a city in Clinton County, Indiana, United States. The population was 16,422 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of Clinton County. History Brothers John, William and Nicholas Pence, previously of Warren County, Ohio, settled on the land on which Frankfort now stands in 1829, having entered it from the government in 1827 and 1828. In 1830, the brothers donated of the land to the county commissioners, a donation which led to the establishment of the county seat at that site rather than in Jefferson, a community which had also been vying for the honor. The new town was named Frankfort at the brothers' request and honors their German great-grandparents' home of Frankfurt am Main. The town of Frankfort was laid off on the tract by William Douglass, the county agent, and the plat filed on June 8, 1830. The expression "everything bubble" refers to the correlated impact of monetary easing by the Federal Reserve (and followed by the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan) on asset prices in most asset classes, namely equities, housing, bonds, many commodities, and even exotic assets such as cryptocurrencies and SPACs. The term is related to the Fed put, being the tools of ''direct'' and ''indirect'' quantative easing that the Fed used to execute the monetary easing, and to modern monetary theory, which advocates the use of such tools, even in non-crisis periods, to create economic growth through asset price inflation.
