Helsingborg
Helsingborg (, , , ) is a city and the seat of Helsingborg Municipality, Scania (Skåne), Sweden. It is the second-largest city in Scania (after Malmö) and ninth-largest in Sweden, with a population of 113,816 (2020). Helsingborg is the central urban area of northwestern Scania and Sweden's closest point to Denmark: the Danish city Helsingør is clearly visible about to the west on the other side of the Øresund. 1991 Challenge Tour
The 1991 Challenge Tour was the third season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. The tour started as the Satellite Tour with its first Order of Merit rankings in 1989 and was officially renamed as the Challenge Tour at the start of the 1990 season. The Challenge Tour Rankings were won by England's David R. Jones. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 1991 season. Terry Price (golfer)
Terry Price (born 27 December 1960) is an Australian professional golfer. Early life Price was born in Rockhampton, Queensland. Professional career Price turned professional in 1978 at age 17, joined the PGA Tour of Australasia in 1986. He won his first tournament in 1988 at the non-Order of Merit Queensland PGA Championship. He has since won five Order of Merit titles on the tour, in addition to several more victories both in Australia and internationally. Price has also played on the European Tour. He played three seasons in the early 1990s, finishing just inside the top 100 on the Order of Merit in 1994 and 1995, before losing his card at the end of 1996. He returned to the European Tour in 2003 via qualifying school, but had to revisit at the end of the season to regain his card. He achieved a career best finish on the Order of Merit of 53rd in 2004, but he was unable to build on that and after missing much of the 2006 season due to injury, lost his card at the end of 200 ... Jesper Parnevik
Jesper Bo Parnevik (; born 7 March 1965) is a Swedish professional golfer. He spent 38 weeks in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking in 2000 and 2001. Early years and amateur career Parnevik was born in Botkyrka, Stockholm County, and is the son of Swedish entertainer Bosse Parnevik and his wife Gertie (b. 1940). He grew up in Åkersberga. Parnevik became a member of the first group of students in Sweden to combine studying with golf training at the Swedish upper secondary sports school in Danderyd outside Stockholm. At age 15, Parnevik spent 10 days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and developed an appreciation for life in the United States; he later moved to Palm Beach County, Florida, to attend Palm Beach Junior College in Lake Worth on a golf scholarship. Heinz-Peter Thül (born 27 July 1963) is a German professional golfer who played on the European Tour. Thül started playing golf at age 8 and has played in 350 tournaments over three decades. By the time of Bernhard Langer's wedding in 1984 he was considered Germany's number two golfer, and as such would team up with Langer in international matches such as World Cup and Dunhill Cup. Professional career Thül turned professional in 1980 and played in his first European Tour the same year. He played another 40 events throughout the 1980s with limited success, until he started competing on the nascent Challenge Tour towards the end of the decade. On the Challenge Tour he recorded four victories between 1988 and 1992, and remained the only German winner until Sven Strüver won the American Express Trophy in 1993. Per Haugsrud (born 20 February 1965) is a Norwegian professional golfer and the first Norwegian to play on the European Tour. Amateur career Haugsrud began to play golf at the nine hole course in Sarpsborg when he was only seven years old. He was a scratch player at age 15. He won two Norwegian Amateur titles and represented Norway in the 1984 Eisenhower Trophy, the World Amateur Golf Team Championships. Carl Magnus Strömberg (born 12 July 1962) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. In 1987 he won both the Swedish Matchplay Championship and the Swedish PGA Championship before joining the Challenge Tour and later the European Tour.
