Ramesh Singh Kushwaha (born 25 January 1962) is an Indian politician. He is State President of Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal, Bihar. He is former member Of Bihar Legislative Assembly from 106th Ziradei constituency in Siwan district. Early life He was born in middle class family. His father Sitaram Singh Kushwaha was also a politician while mother Sarla Devi is a housewife. His father was a leader of CPI(ML) where his grand father Ramjash Mahto was a socialist. His grand mother Vimla Devi was also into politics. Political career Kushwaha began his political career in the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Liberation. Following the murder of student activist Chandrashekhar Prasad, he filed the FIR against the sitting member of parliament, Mohammad Shahabuddin. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
