Ramaz Nikolaishvili
Ramaz Nikolaishvili (Georgian: რამაზ ნიკოლაიშვილი; born June 17, 1965) is a Georgian politician who has served as Governor of Guria and Deputy Minister of Defense in 2008, Chairman of the Roads Department in 2008-2010, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development in 2010-2012, and a member of Parliament since 2012. Starting his career in domestic intelligence through his work for the Financial Police where he led investigations into currency counterfeiting, he was appointed to serve a brief term in 2008 as Governor of Guria, before becoming Deputy Minister of Defense during the 2008 Russo-Georgian War. Becoming Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure in 2010, he became one of the most popular members of the Saakashvili administration, leading the government's massive infrastructure jobs program meant to address Georgia's response to the 2008-2009 global recession. Parliament Of Romania
The Parliament of Romania ( ro, Parlamentul României) is the national bicameral legislature of Romania, consisting of the Chamber of Deputies ( ro, Camera Deputaților) and the Senate ( ro, Senat). It meets at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, the capital of the country. Prior to the modification of the Constitution in 2003, the two houses had identical attributes. A text of a law had to be approved by both houses. If the text differed, a special commission ( ro, comisie de mediere) was formed by deputies and senators, that "negotiated" between the two houses the form of the future law. The report of this commission had to be approved in a joint session of the Parliament. Baku–Tbilisi–Kars Railway
The Baku–Tbilisi–Kars (BTK), or Baku–Tbilisi–Akhalkalaki–Kars railway (BTAK), is an international rail link project connecting Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, which became operational on 30 October 2017 following several years of delays. The project was originally due to be completed by 2010, but was delayed to 2013, 2015, and, following a fifth trilateral meeting in February 2016, foreign ministers of the three countries announced that the railway would finally be completed in 2017.
