The Ralph Cantafio Soccer Complex, originally known as the Winnipeg Soccer Complex, is a multi-use stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It is currently used mostly for soccer matches. The main pitch, John Scouras Field, holds 2,000 spectators. The complex replaced Alexander Park as the main soccer venue in Winnipeg. The 1999 Pan American Games were held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and surrounding area. The Pan American Games ran from July 23 to August 8, 1999. Planning A total of 32 sporting venues were used for the games. The Pan Am Pool, built for the 1967 games, featured in the 1999 games for all aquatic events.
