''Rajathi Rojakili'' is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. Devarajan, starring Rajesh, Goundamani, Manorama, Senthil, Nalini and Sulakshana, Suresh. Goundamani acted as the main villain. Plot The story begins with the life of Zamindar Velu Mayilu Thevar. The Zamindar's nephew is Soora Thevar, who is frustrated with the Zamindar's good deeds and kind actions and wants to take up all the wealth for himself. Along with his wife and assistant, he poisons Velu Thevar's food, thus leaving Velu's young son Surutaiyan without parental care. Soora Thevar becomes the guardian for Velu Thevar's wealth, until Surutaiyan grows up. Seenu Thevar, who used to work for Velu Thevar starts taking care of Surutaiyan, as he doesn't like Soora Thevar torturing Surutaiyan. Soora Thevar's plans work out and he sends his daughter to a convent, but Surutaiyan remains uneducated. Years later, his daughter now grown up is all educated and smart. Manorama (Tamil Actress)
Gopishantha (26 May 1937 – 10 October 2015), better known by her stage name Manorama, also called Aachi, was an Indian actress, playback singer and comedian who had appeared in more than 1000 films and 5000 stage performances and several television series predomninantely in the Tamil language until 2015. She was a recipient of the Kalaimamani award. In 2002, Government of India awarded Manorama the Padma Shri for her contribution to the arts. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
