Rajasthan United Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Founded in 2018 as ''JECRC CF'', the club academy participated in R-League A Division 2019, and was the inaugural winner. In 2020, ''JECRC CF'' was rebranded as Rajasthan United FC. The club currently competes in I-League. Rajasthan United won the 2021 I-League Qualifiers and thus became the first ever club from the state to qualify for the then top flight of Indian football. I-League
The I-League (known as Hero I-League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp) is the second-tier men's professional football competition of the Indian football league system. It is currently contested by 12 clubs across the country with the winners getting promotion to play in the premier division, the Indian Super League. The competition was founded in 2007 as the successor to the National Football League, with the first season starting in November 2007. The league was launched as India's first ever top-tier professional football league with the aim to increase the player pool for the India national team. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The league currently comprises 11 clubs. Each season of the tournament generally runs from October to March. Novin Gurung (born 28 April 1999) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Rajasthan United in the I-League. He also works in the Indian Navy, part of the Indian Armed Forces since 2018. Career Born in Sikkim, Gurung began his career at the Namchi Sports Hostel before joining the Sports Academy of Sikkim. Maharana Pratap
Pratap Singh I, popularly known as Maharana Pratap (c. 9 May 1540 – 19 January 1597), was a king of Mewar from the Sisodia dynasty. Pratap became a folk hero for his military resistance against the expansionism of the Mughal Empire under Akbar through guerrilla warfare which proved inspirational for later rebels against Mughals including Shivaji.
