Appan Thacheth
Thacheth Neelakanta Menon, better known as Appan Thacheth (10 November 1937 – 2 July 2011), was a Malayalam-language poet and lyricist from Kerala, India. Thacheth was born in 1937 in Elamkulam, Cochin, as the son of Kandaveli Achuthan Pillai and Elamkulam Thacheth Sanikutty Amma. After completing his bachelor's degree in Arts and diploma in business management, he joined Larson and Toubro in Madras. He worked at the Madras Atomic Power Station, Abu Dhabi International Airport and Lotus Temple in Delhi. He also worked in Calcutta and Germany. He retired as Senior Quality Control Engineer in 1998. He published over 50 collections of poems. Jose Prakash
Jose Prakash (14 April 1925 – 24 March 2012) was an Indian actor and singer who worked in Malayalam cinema. He was a singer turned actor who had appeared in more than 300 films mostly in antagonist roles. He was awarded with the J. C. Daniel Award in 2011, a day before he died aged 86. In a career spanning for around 40 years, he is known for portraying some of the iconic villain characters in the Malayalam film industry. Later, he switched to character roles in the mid 90s. Mahalakshmi Menon, best known by her stagename Shobha (23 September 1962 – 1 May 1980), was an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam and Tamil films. At the age of 17, she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1979 Tamil film ''Pasi''. Vincent (12 February 1946 - 30 August 1991) was an Indian actor from Kerala. He was active during the 1970s and 80s and acted in about 160+ Malayalam films, many of them as leading actor. Born in Edavanakad Vypin, he was a romantic and action hero of his time. Personal life Vincent was married to Mary, who was working as a teacher in Chennai Public School, Chennai. He died of a heart attack on 31 August 1991 at the age of 45. Vincent's wife Mary died on 15 October 2016 in a road accident near Thirumangalam, Chennai.
