''Rainy Seasons'' ( fa, فصل باران‌های موسمی, Fasl-e Bārān-hā-ye Mowsemi) is a 2010 Iranian film, directed by Majid Barzegar Majid Barzegar ( fa, مجید برزگر; born March 6, 1973 in Hamedan) is an Iranian film director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. He established his own film company Rainy pictures in 2005 with the aim of stimulating the independent .... Barzegar's directorial debut, it tells the story of sixteen-year-old Sina (Navid Layeghi Moghadam), who is left with an apartment to himself as his parents divorce. He finds himself in a difficult situation, hounded by neighborhood tough Masoud (Alireza Bagheri) to whom he owes money, as he allows Nahid (Marzieh Khoshtarash) to stay with him temporarily. The movie was originally conceived as a short film before being developed into a full-length feature. Majid Barzegar ( fa, مجید برزگر; born March 6, 1973 in Hamedan) is an Iranian film director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. He established his own film company Rainy pictures in 2005 with the aim of stimulating the independent film production in Iran. Fajr Film Festival
Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival ( fa, جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; fa, جشنواره فیلم فجر), has been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. It takes place on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The awards are the Iranian equivalent to the American Academy Awards.
