Raindrops (Encore Une Fois)
"Raindrops" is a dance music song released in 2006 by the British production team Stunt. Produced in Canada by Dave Valler and Gary Johnson, it reached number 8 in Finland. At least six different mixes have been released. Lyrically, "Raindrops" compares the feeling of "raindrops on my skin" to love. An early report by the Guildford Borough Council describes Smitten-Downes' involvement in the piece:Molly Smitten-Downes, a student at Guildford's Academy of Contemporary Music, recorded a song called "Raindrops" which had already received airtime on commercial radio and BBC One in November, two days after being fingered by Marty K. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. Jens Kindervater (born July 13, 1974) is a German electronic dance music DJ and producer. He is particularly known for the " Michael Mind Project", which he founded together with Francois Sanders in 2007 as "Michael Mind" and renamed in 2010. Life Jens Kindervater was born July 13, 1974 in Aachen, where he grew up. He attended the Anne Frank High School in Aachen, graduating in 1994. He then began studying mechanical engineering, but broke it off due to his love of music. With his later studio partner Bernd Johnen, he established contacts with Alphabet City Musikproduktions- und Verlags GmbH in Mönchengladbach and released his first recordings after one year. "Encore une fois" (; French for "One More Time") is a song by German DJ group Sash!, released in January 1997 as the second single from their debut album, ''It's My Life – The Album'' (1997). It features French vocals by German vocalist Sabine Ohmes and found huge success in clubs throughout the world. To date, it is one of Sash!'s biggest hits. A mashup (also mesh, mash up, mash-up, blend, bastard pop or bootleg) is a creative work, usually a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, typically by superimposing the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another and changing the tempo and key where necessary. Dance Nation was a British independent record label which was a subsidiary of Ministry of Sound. When founded in 2007 it was known as Hard2Beat Records, and was rebranded to its current name in 2010. The label's first release was " Now You're Gone" by Basshunter, and they have released other singles and compilation albums since then. In April 2009 they held ''Dance Nation Live'', a live arena tour across the UK. Basshunter headlined the tour with acts including Sash!, Lasgo, and Platnum. Dance Nation had its own customized content channel on Audiotube. The label brand was used as a Sky TV Channel in 2012, since it has not had any new releases or live tours. Stunt is a dance music project of British remixers/producers Pete Kirtley, Molly Smitten-Downes, Simon Wills, Mark Dowling and Dave Valler. Stunt is signed to Absolute records with their releases distributed through AATW ( All Around the World). 2005-present David Valler and Molly Smitten-Downes collaborated to write lyrics and a melody (topline) over the Sash! hit "Encore une fois", creating an international club hit, " Raindrops". It was picked up in the United States by Ultra Records and by Ministry of Sound in the United Kingdom in 2006. A new reworking of "Raindrops" between Stunt and Sash! was released as a download-only track on 6 October 2008 on Hard2Beat records.
