Ragnhild Aamodt
Ragnhild Margrethe Aamodt (born 9 September 1980, in Sarpsborg) is a Norwegian handball player. She currently plays for the Norwegian club Sarpsborg. Until March 2009 she also played for the Norwegian national team. She made her debut on the Norwegian national team in 2002, and played 133 matches and scored 314 goals until her retirement on March 2009. She is a 3 time European champion, from 2004 to 2008. Sarpsborg
Sarpsborg ( or ), historically Borg, is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Sarpsborg. Sarpsborg is part of the fifth largest urban area in Norway when paired with neighbouring Fredrikstad. As of 1 January 2018, according to Statistics Norway these two municipalities have a total population of 136,127 with 55,840 in Sarpsborg and 81,278 in Fredrikstad. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end.
