Raftaar
Dilin Nair (born 16 November 1988), better known by his stage name Raftaar, is an Indian rapper, lyricist, dancer, TV personality and music composer associated with Hindi and Punjabi music. He started his career as a dancer. He began his career in rap in 2008 with Lil Golu and Young Amli (now known as Ikka), recording songs and uploading them on social sites. He then started working with Yo Yo Honey Singh as a part of the Mafia Mundeer group. Raftaar later split from the group due to credit-related problems. He was supported by Ankit Khanna, who introduced him to the Punjabi music band RDB, who then signed him onto their label, Three Records. Soon after the split between the RDB members, Raftaar joined Manjeet Ral (now known as Manj Musik). He started his solo career in 2016 after getting signed to Zee Music Company. Manjeet Singh Ral ( Punjabi: ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਲ, born 24 January 1975), better known by his stage-name Manj Musik, is a British Indian composer, singer and Filmi scorer. He was one of the music composer for the bhangra music group RDB, which was formed with his two brothers Surjeet Singh (SurjRDB) and Kuldeep Ral in 2000. Career Manj Musik started his musical journey with RDB group singing at their local gurudwara. After the death of the older brother Kuljeet Ral, Manj Musik decided to leave RDB. Beginning his solo career in 2014, At that same year he was awarded "Best Urban Single" at the Brit Asia TV Music Awards for "Swag Mera Desi" by himself and Raftaar. Krishna Kaul, known mononymously as Krishna (stylised now as KR$NA; previously as Krsna) and formerly as YoungProzpekt, is a rapper from Gurugram, Delhi NCR, India. ''MTV Hustle'' is India's first ever rap/ hip-hop reality show. Aspiring rappers battle it out to become India’s biggest hip-hop star. The show airs on MTV India and also digitally streams on Voot. Season 1 premiered on 10 August 2019. Judged by Raftaar, Nucleya and Raja Kumari and hosted by Gaelyn Mendonca. Season 2 premiered on 3 September 2022. Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, (born 19 November 1985), known by his stage name Badshah, is an Indian rapper, singer, film producer and businessman known for his Hindi, Haryanvi, and Punjabi music. He started his career in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in his Hip Hop group Mafia Mundeer. RDB (band)
RDB (an acronym for Rhythm, Dhol, Bass) is a band initially formed in 1997 by three British Indian brothers, Kuldeep, Surjeet and Manjeet Singh Ral. The band's style blends western genres with traditional Punjabi beats and vocals. After the death of the eldest brother Kuldeep in 2012 and the departure of Manjeet to start a solo career, RDB has continued with the brother Surjeet. History RDB's musical journey began with singing at the gurdwara: "We used to assist our father in performing in front of the community at our local gurdwara, playing the harmonium and the tabla.
