Rafael Gonçalves Toledo (born 24 January 1980 in Limeira), commonly known as Rafael Toledo, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a right back, and is the current assistant manager of Buriram United. Limeira
Limeira is a city in the eastern part of the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The population is 308,482 (2020 est.) in an area of 581 km2. The elevation is 588 m. It is 154 km from São Paulo, the state capital, and 1011 km from Brasilia, Brazil's capital. The city can be easily reached from São Paulo by two highways: Rodovia Anhanguera and Rodovia dos Bandeirantes. Once an important and strategical pole of the coffee culture, Limeira was also known as the "Brazilian orange capital" due to the great citrus production that occurred in the past, although now the main crop cultivated in the city is the sugar cane. Afterwards, it became recognized by its new plated jewelry and semi-jewelry industry which attract customers from all over the world, giving the city the title of "Brazil's plated jewellery capital". Vila Nova Futebol Clube, commonly referred to as Vila Nova, is a Brazilian professional club based in Goiânia, Goiás founded on 29 July 1943. It competes in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second tier of Brazilian football, as well as in the Campeonato Goiano, the top flight of the Goiás state football league. History In 1943 the club was founded as Vila Nova Futebol Clube. Three years later, in 1946, the club changed its name to Operário. 2017 Campeonato Brasiliense
The 2017 Campeonato Brasiliense was the 42nd edition of the Campeonato Brasiliense, the main division of soccer of the Federal District (Brazil). The competition, which was organized by the Brasiliense Football Federation, was played between January 30 and May 7 by twelve teams from DF, Goiás and Minas Gerais. The championship awarded two places for the 2018 Copa do Brasil and the 2018 Copa Verde, as well as two places for the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. Regulation The championship was played in four stages: qualifying round, quarter finals, semifinals and final. In the first phase, the twelve teams played each other in first leg games, totaling eleven rounds. The eight teams with the most points scored in the first round advanced to the quarter-finals, while the last two teams were relegated to the second division in 2018.
