Rafael Coutinho
Rafael dos Santos Coutinho (born January 28, 1980, in São Paulo) is a Brazilian comics artist, painter and animator. Early life and education Coutinho was born on January 28, 1980, the city of São Paulo. He studied Arts at São Paulo State University (UNESP). During his studies in 2003, part of his work from a plastic art course were featured in a city-wide advertisement campaign in São Paulo. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2004. Career Coutinho started his professional career at 16 years old, as ''storyboard'' artist for Laís Bodanzky's 2001 film '' Brainstorm''. Following his degree at UNESP he worked with the art collective Base-V, producing experimental works, murals and exhibitions. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 Coutinho was part of a series of exhibitions, displaying different visual art works in the Galeria Choque Cultural in São Paulo. Daniel Galera
Daniel Galera (São Paulo, July 13, 1979) is a Brazilian writer, translator and editor. He was born in São Paulo, but was raised and spent most of his life in Porto Alegre, until 2005 when he went back to São Paulo. He is considered by critics to be one of the most influential young authors in Brazilian literature. Between 1998 and 2001, as a student at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, he wrote for the literary e-zine Cardosonline; among the collaborators were André Czarnobai (the founder), Clara Averbuck and Daniel Pellizari. Daniel is one of the founders of the publishing house Livros do Mal and had some of his works adapted into plays and movies. Laerte
Laerte Coutinho (born 10 June 1951), known mainly as simply Laerte, is a Brazilian cartoonist and screenwriter, known for creating comic strips such as ''Piratas do Tietê'' (''Pirates of the Tietê River''). She was part of the Brazilian underground comics scene of the 1980s. Together with Angeli and Glauco (and later Adão Iturrusgarai) she drew the collaborative comic strip '. She has done work for publications such as ''Balão'', ''O Pasquim'', and ''Chiclete com Banana'' magazines, and draws regularly for ''Folha de S. Paulo'' newspaper. A short film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits".
