Rafael Martínez Aguilera (born 3 March 1982), known as Rafa Martínez, is a Spanish professional basketball player for Baxi Manresa of the Liga ACB. He also represented the Spain national team internationally. He plays the shooting guard position. Professional career Rafa Martínez started playing basketball for Basquet Manresa eventually rising from the club's junior team ranks. The team previously played in the Spanish second division LEB but was promoted to the ACB for the 1999–2000 season where on October 9, 1999, he made his professional debut in the top Spanish league against FC Barcelona. The following season he spent in the Basketball team CB Vic. After spending two years in the Valls Felix Hotel in LEB-2, he returned to the Basquet Manresa in 2003. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 European Championship, previously known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under', is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. Marko Popović (born 12 June 1982) is a Croatian basketball executive and former professional basketball player. Standing at a height of , he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB.
