Radovan Stojanović
Radovan Stojanović is the Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro, Montenegro and Founder and President of the Montenegrin Association for New Technologies (MANT). He is a member of the Board of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts for Natural and Technical Sciences. Biography Stojanović received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1990 and 1995 respectively, from the University of Montenegro, Montenegro. He completed his doctoral thesis in Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology in the field of machine vision from University of Patras, Greece in 2001. Ivangrad
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. QRS Complex
The QRS complex is the combination of three of the graphical deflections seen on a typical electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG). It is usually the central and most visually obvious part of the tracing. It corresponds to the depolarization of the right and left ventricles of the heart and contraction of the large ventricular muscles. In adults, the QRS complex normally lasts ; in children it may be shorter. The Q, R, and S waves occur in rapid succession, do not all appear in all leads, and reflect a single event and thus are usually considered together. Photoplethysmogram
A photoplethysmogram (PPG) is an optically obtained plethysmogram that can be used to detect blood volume changes in the microvascular bed of tissue. A PPG is often obtained by using a pulse oximeter which illuminates the skin and measures changes in light absorption. A conventional pulse oximeter monitors the perfusion of blood to the dermis and subcutaneous tissue of the skin. With each cardiac cycle the heart pumps blood to the periphery. Even though this pressure pulse is somewhat damped by the time it reaches the skin, it is enough to distend the arteries and arterioles in the subcutaneous tissue.
