Stjepan Radić
Stjepan Radić (11 June 1871 – 8 August 1928) was a Croat politician and founder of the Croatian People's Peasant Party (HPSS), active in Austria-Hungary and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. He is credited with galvanizing Croatian peasantry into a viable political force. Throughout his entire career, Radić was opposed to the union and later Serb hegemony in Yugoslavia and became an important political figure in that country. He was shot in parliament by the Serbian People's Radical Party politician Puniša Račić. Radić died several weeks later from a serious stomach wound at the age of 57. This assassination further alienated the Croats and the Serbs and initiated the breakdown of the parliamentary system, culminating in the 6 January Dictatorship of 1929. Indira Radić (; ; born 14 June 1966) is a Bosnian Serb pop-folk singer. She has established herself on the music scene of the former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria and sings almost exclusively in her native tongue. In the period from 1992 to 2015 she released 16 albums mixing pop, dance and traditional folk elements. This hybrid style, described as turbo-folk, brought her success throughout the region with songs like "Ratovanje" that incorporated Music of India, Indian elements. Lepa Radić
Lepa Svetozara Radić ( sr-Cyr, Лепа Светозара Радић; 19 December 1925 – 8 February 1943) was a Yugoslav Partisan and communist of Serbian origin who was awarded the Order of the People's Hero in 1951 for her role in the resistance movement against the Axis powers in the Second World War—becoming the youngest recipient at the time. She was executed at the age of 17 for shooting at German troops. As her captors tied the noose around her neck, they offered her a reprieve from the gallows if she would reveal her comrades' and leaders' identities. She responded that she was not a traitor and that her comrades would reveal themselves when they avenged her death. Dejan Radić (; born 8 July 1980) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career From 1999 to 2003, Radić played for Rad in the First League of Serbia and Montenegro, before the club suffered relegation to the Second League. He later moved abroad to Russia and joined Alania Vladikavkaz in early 2004. In his two seasons at the club, Radić made 38 league appearances in the top flight, before the side got relegated at the end of the 2005 season. He later signed with fellow Russian club Spartak Nalchik, spending three seasons (2007–2009) and making 43 league appearances. In January 2010, Radić was acquired by Rostov. Born in Zagreb, Radić graduated from both University of Zagreb's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Academy of Dramatic Art.
