''Radio Goethe'' is an American weekly syndicated radio program produced in Oakland, California. Content Arndt Peltner hosts ''Radio Goethe'', a weekly radio program that was started in November 1996 on the College Radio Station KUSF, San Francisco. The show features music from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is non-formatted and non-commercial. The music spans from Rock to Industrial, Electronic and much more. Since 1999 the show has been syndicated on stations in Canada, the US and several countries in Europe. ''Radio Goethe'' has been known to do special features such as a show devoted to the 2006 FIFA World Cup where different host cities were presented, and more recently six music shows for the "Wunderbar Together" events, the "Deutschlandjahr" in the USA. KMSM-FM (103.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Butte, Montana. The station is owned and operated by the Associated Students of Montana Tech and airs a variety format. History On November 21, 1972, the Associated Students of Montana Tech received a construction permit for a new radio station to operate with 10 watts on 91.5 MHz in Butte. Award of the permit came more than two years after a feasibility committee was formed to evaluate the possibility of an FM radio station on the Montana Tech campus. KBVR (88.7 FM) is a student-run non-commercial radio station broadcasting a variety format. Licensed to Corvallis, Oregon, United States, the station is currently owned by Oregon State University. KBVR is part of Orange Media Network, the student media department at OSU. The station can be heard in about a 30-mile radius around Corvallis, depending on altitude. KBVR was founded in 1966. KAOS (89.3 FM) is a hybrid college-community radio station licensed to The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. It broadcasts at a power of 1,250 watts and also streams via the Internet. The station offers radio broadcasting training to students of The Evergreen State College as well as members of the local community. History KAOS was founded by Dean Katz of The Evergreen State College. When he traveled to Seattle to apply for the station license, his official papers had the radio station call letters as KESC (for "Evergreen State College.") However, unbeknownst to his adviser and almost everyone else, Katz substituted the initials of the fictional spy agency in the TV show ''Get Smart''.
