Radio Werewolf was a musical collective active in Los Angeles, California, and Europe from 1984 to 1993. History Radio Werewolf was founded in Los Angeles in 1984, by Nikolas Schreck (vocals), Evil Wilhelm (percussion), James "Filth" Collord (bass) and Nathan Pino (hammond organ.) When Nathan Pino was asked to leave the band, he was replaced on the keyboard (known by Radio Werewolf as the Lycanthropachord) by Paul Antonelli, formerly with the band Animotion. Holding a series of controversial theatrical ritual events billed as ''Radio Werewolf Youth Rallies'' at such landmark Sunset Strip venues as The Whisky a Go Go, the Roxy, and Club Lingerie, as well as at pioneering Gothic underground clubs The Krypt, The Scream, and Zombie Zoo, the band attracted a cult following they came to identify as the "Radio Werewolf Youth Party." Zeena Schreck
Zeena Galatea Schreck (née LaVey), known professionally by her Mononymous person, mononymous artist name ZEENA, is a Berlin-based American visual and musical artist, author and the spiritual leader of the Sethian Liberation Movement (SLM), which she founded in 2002. Zeena was raised within the Church of Satan, and came to international prominence early in life as the organization's spokesperson, defending the Church during the 1980s. She resigned her position in 1990, severed ties with her father, and renounced LaVeyan Satanism. Her religious path eventually led to teaching Vajrayana, Tibetan Tantric Buddhism. John Wayne Gacy
John Wayne Gacy (March 17, 1942 – May 10, 1994) was an American serial killer and sex offender who raped, tortured, and murdered at least 33 young men and boys. Gacy regularly performed at children's hospitals and charitable events as "Pogo the Clown" or "Patches the Clown", personas he had devised. He became known as the Killer Clown due to his public services as a clown prior to the discovery of his crimes. Gacy committed all of his murders inside his ranch-style house near Norridge, a village in Norwood Park Township in suburban Chicago. Typically, he would lure a victim to his home and dupe him into donning handcuffs on the pretext of demonstrating a magic trick. Deathrock
Death rock (or deathrock) is a rock music subgenre incorporating horror elements and gothic theatrics. Post-punk
Post-punk (originally called new musick) is a broad genre of punk music that emerged in the late 1970s as musicians departed from punk's traditional elements and raw simplicity, instead adopting a variety of avant-garde sensibilities and non-rock influences. ''Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS'' is a 1975 Canadian exploitation film about Ilsa, a sadistic and sexually voracious Nazi prison camp commandant. The film is directed by American filmmaker Don Edmonds and produced by David F. Friedman for Cinépix Film Properties in Montreal. The film stars Dyanne Thorne in the titular role, who is loosely based on Ilse Koch, a convicted war criminal and overseer at the Buchenwald concentration camp. Oom-pah
Oom-pah, Oompah or Umpapa is an onomatopoeic term describing the rhythmical sound of a deep brass instrument in combination with the response of other instruments or registers in a band, a form of background ostinato. The oom-pah sound is usually made by the tuba alternating between the root (tonic) of the chord and the 5th (dominant) — this sound is said to be the ''oom''. The ''pah'' is played on the off-beats by higher-pitched instruments such as the clarinet, accordion or trombone. Oompah is often associated with ''Volkstümliche Musik'', a form of popular German music, and with polka. In triple time genres such as the waltz it is oom-pah-pah. The musical ''Oliver!'' contains a song named "Oom-Pah-Pah", which is named after the oom-pah. Concertina
A concertina is a free-reed musical instrument, like the various accordions and the harmonica.
