RTRN II JUNGLE
This is a listing of official releases by Chase & Status, an English drum and bass production duo from London consisting of Saul Milton and Will Kennard. Chase & Status had three number one singles on the UK Dance Chart between 2007 – 2009; the double A-side "Hurt You" / "Sell Me Your Soul" in 2007 and "Take Me Away" / "Judgement (Informer)" in 2008 were two of them. On 5 October 2008, they reached number seventy on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart again with their single " Pieces" featuring vocals from Plan B. In 2009, they peaked at number forty five with " Against All Odds", which featured UK rapper Kano. After this, Chase & Status' style changed from more 'liquid' drum and bass songs, such as "Take U There" (featuring Digga), to a more commercialised sound, reminiscent of club/dance music. Chase & Status
Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly performed as MC with the group, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. The duo have since released five studio albums and collaborated with major artists such as Plan B, CeeLo Green, Rihanna, Example, and Tinie Tempah. They run the independent record label MTA Records. Delilah (musician)
Paloma Ayana Stoecker (born 23 September 1990), who records under the name Delilah, is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, France, Delilah moved to Hackney, London, England, at an early age where she later attended City and Islington College. After sending demos to Island Records she caught the attention of industry executives at major record labels and signed to Atlantic Records at the age of seventeen. In 2011, she collaborated with Chase & Status on the single "Time". Her first solo song " Go", was officially released on 25 September 2011, whilst previously being available for digital download. Her debut album ''From the Roots Up'' was released on 30 July 2012 and peaked at No. 5 in the UK Albums Chart. "Blk & Blu" is a song by British record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British singer Ed Thomas. It was released independently on 24 March 2014 as the fourth single from their third studio album ''Brand New Machine''. However, the song charted prior to independent release and entered the UK Singles Chart at number 181 upon the album release, rising to number 48 after release. The Preditah remix premiered on DJ Target's BBC Radio 1 show on 8 February 2014, and the Calibre remix premiered on UKF Drum & Bass on 9 February 2014. Alive (Chase & Status Song)
"Alive" is a song by British record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British singer Jacob Banks. It was released independently on 15 December 2013 as the third single from their third studio album ''Brand New Machine''. However, the song charted prior to independent release and entered the UK Dance Chart at number 40 on the week ending 23 November 2013, rising to number 16 on the week ending 30 November. The release of the music video also caused a surge in popularity and the song rose to number 48 in the UK Singles Chart. It has later risen to peak at number 21 on the week ending 25 January 2014. The song also featured in a ''FIFA 14'' trailer for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Moko (singer)
Diane Nadia Adu-Gyamfi (born 1991), better known by her stage names Moko or Nadiah Adu-Gyamfi, is a Ghanaian-British soul singer. She rose to fame after featuring on the Chase & Status single " Count on Me". Moko has released two EPs, ''Black'' (2013) and ''Gold'' (2014), on MTA and Virgin EMI. Under the stage name Nadiah Adu-Gyamfi, she won the £500,000 jackpot on ITV music game show ''Walk the Line'' in December 2021. Early life and education Moko was born and raised in New Cross, London. "Lost & Not Found" is a song by British record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British singer Louis M^ttrs. It was released on 26 June 2013 as the lead single from their third studio album ''Brand New Machine''. The song was originally due to be released on 30 June, but was included on '' Clubland 23'' which was released on 24 June and the release date was brought forwards. Due to this incident, the song title was changed to include the "not" from the second half of the chorus. Music video A music video to accompany the release of "Lost & Not Found" was first released onto YouTube on 4 June 2013 at a total length of five minutes and eight seconds. ''Brand New Machine'' is the third studio album by English drum and bass production duo Chase & Status. It was released on 7 October 2013 by MTA Records under exclusive license to Mercury Records. The album features vocal contributions from a new wave of British talent, including Louis M^ttrs, Moko, Jacob Banks and Elli Ingram, as well as contributions from Major Lazer, Nile Rodgers and rapper Pusha T. The duo toured the album with an arena tour beginning on 31 October 2013. They also headlined 1Xtra Live at the Bournemouth International Centre on the same day as the release of the album. Takura Tendayi is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter. He is well known for his frequent collaborations with Chase & Status and Sub Focus, as well as many other dubstep and drum and bass artists. His guest appearances have accumulated over 17 million views on YouTube , and his song " Flashing Lights" has charted in the United Kingdom at number 98 in the UK Singles Chart and number 15 in the UK Dance Chart. Sub Focus
Nicolaas Douwma (born 13 April 1982), better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English DJ, record producer, songwriter, musician and sound engineer from Guildford, Surrey. He has been releasing records since 2003. On 12 October 2009, he released his self-titled debut album. He released his second album, ''Torus'', on 30 September 2013.
