Magadh University is a public state university and institution of higher education in Bodh Gaya, Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is governed by the Bihar State University Act 1976. It provides facilities for higher learning and research in the faculties of science, social sciences, humanities and commerce. With 19 constituent colleges, 22 PG departments and 39 affiliated colleges, Magadh University is the largest university in Bihar.
