Puka (german: Bockenhof) is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Otepää Parish, Valga County, southern Estonia. It was the administrative centre of Puka Parish until 2017. Kreis Dorpat (''Tartu kreis'', ''Дерптский уезд'', 1893-1918 ''Юрьевский уезд'') was one of the nine subdivisions of the Governorate of Livonia of the Russian Empire. It was situated in the northeastern part of the governorate (in present-day eastern Estonia). Its capital was Tartu (''Dorpat''). The 1924 Summer Olympics (french: Jeux olympiques d'été de 1924), officially the Games of the VIII Olympiad (french: Jeux de la VIIIe olympiade) and also known as Paris 1924, were an international multi-sport event held in Paris, France. The Games were the second to be hosted by Paris (after 1900), making it the first city to host the Olympics twice.
