Răsăritul Caracal
Fotbal Club Progresul Caracal was a Romanian professional football club from Caracal, Olt County, Romania. History Răsăritul Caracal was founded in 1924. Among the founding members of this sports association were: Mircea Botoi, Gheorghe Dumitrescu, Tudor Voiculescu, Ștefan Săndulescu, supported by a few people with financial possibilities, including: Stavarache Borcescu, Ionică Brătașanu or Tudor Popescu. The first major competition at which Răsăritul Caracal started was the 1926–1927 season of the Oltenia Regional Championship, together with Rovine Grivița, Craiu-Iovan, Tinerimea, Generală, all from Craiova and Oltul Slatina and where it has been a constant presence for two decades. The club was taken over by the management of the site that built the Bucharest-Craiova railway, changing its name to CFR Caracal (''Căile Ferate Române'') and participating in the first season of Divizia B, 1946–47, after the Second World War, finishing 14th. Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea
Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea was a football club based in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Vâlcea County, Romania. It was founded in 1946 and dissolved in 2004. It won one Romanian Cup, in 1973. History In 1946 ''Vâlceana'' appeared in the Third Division. In 1947 it changed its name to ''CSM Vâlcea''. The club is relegated and only in 1956 succeeds to return again under the name of ''Flamura Roşie'', the name being changed the next year to ''Unirea'' and in 1958 to ''Şantierul Govora''. It is relegated again, but after one year, the team jumped directly to the Second Division under the name of ''Chimia Govora''. In 1962 the club changed its name again, this time to ''Unirea Râmnicu Vâlcea'', in 1966 to ''Oltul'' and in 1967 to ''Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea''. Dumitru Marcu
Dumitru "Mitică" Marcu (born 9 April 1950) is a Romanian former professional football forward and manager. Despite Marcu started his career at Steaua București, he remained as a legendary player of the first golden generation of Universitatea Craiova, nicknamed "The Champion of a Great Love", together with players such as: Ion Oblemenco, Petre Deselnicu, Alexandru Boc or Theodor Țarălungă, among others. Marcu scored 63 goals in 203 matches for the white and blues. After retirement, Marcu started his career as a manager, managing Jiul Petroșani, several times and FC U Craiova.
