Harald Rød
Harald Andreas Rød (29 July 1907 – 14 August 1982) was a Norwegian farmer and politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Frogn as a son of farmers, and became a farmer at Huseby near Drøbak. In 1945 he became the first chairman of Norges Bygdeungdomslag. He also served as mayor of Frogn from 1946 to 1961. Henrik Rød (born 14 September 1975 in Halden) is a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Østfold in 2001, but was not re-elected in 2005. Instead he serves as a deputy representative during the term 2005–2009. Knut Rød (30 June 1900 – 19 May 1986) was a Norwegian police prosecutor responsible for the arrest, detention and transfer of Jewish men, women and children to SS troops at Oslo harbor. Ørnulf Rød
Ørnulf Rød (23 October 1891 – 1969) was a Norwegian barrister. He was born in Tønsberg as a son of ship-owner Bernhard Adolf Johannessen Rød (1833–1892) and Manny Gullichsen (1852–1933). He finished his secondary education in 1909, finished officer's training in 1912 and graduated with the cand.jur. degree from the Royal Frederick University in 1919. He was a deputy judge for one year before starting as a junior solicitor in Kristiania in 1920. From 1925 he was a barrister with access to working with Supreme Court cases. He started his own law firm in Oslo in 1933. In the military he was a Premier Lieutenant from 1912 and Captain from 1915 to 1934, then returned as Major in 1936 and Lieutenant Colonel from 1944. Ragnhild Rød
Ragnhild Rød, née Ragnhild Gunnerson Welhaven (22 August 1884 – ??) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. She was born in Kristiania as a son of clergyman Sven Rudolf Gunnerson (1844–1904) and Elise Margrethe Cammermeyer Welhaven (1850–1936). Her father had americanized his name from Gundersen to Gunnerson, while working as a theologian in the United States. Her maternal grandmother was Anthone Johanne Holmboe, a daughter of Michael Wide Holmboe. As such Ragnhild Rød was a great-great-granddaughter of Jens Holmboe. Her maternal grandfather was Johan Ernst Welhaven, Jr. (1818–1883), a brother of Maren, Elisabeth and Johan Sebastian Welhaven.
