''Röd'' (Swedish for ''Red'') is the eighth studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released as digital download exclusively through the band's website on 5 November 2009 and physically on 6 November 2009. The first single from the album, " Töntarna", was released as digital download on 5 October 2009. The song "Svarta linjer" was performed on the television talk show Skavlan on 30 October. ''Röd'' is available in a standard edition and a deluxe edition box. The deluxe edition box version features the 11-track CD, a USB flash drive with high quality MP3 files as well as AIFF files, three 10" records which between them contain the whole album, and a 118-page book containing lyrics, abstract pictures and photographs. Due to distribution difficulties the deluxe edition was delayed until 11 November 2009. Kent (band)
Kent was a Swedish rock-pop band, formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of ''Verkligen'' (1996) and led by the single "Kräm (så nära får ingen gå)". "Idioter" is a song by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released as the third and final single from the band's eight studio album, ''Röd'', digitally on 8 March 2010, and physically on 10 March. The single contains a single and a demo version of "Idioter", a remix of "Taxmannen" by Andreas Tilliander, and the song "Ensamheten" with remixes by Andrea Parker and Erase. "Idioter" peaked at number thirty-three in Sweden, the band's lowest chart position since "Halka", which peaked at number thirty-six in 1996. ''En plats i solen'' (Swedish for ''A Place in the Sun'') is the ninth studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released on 30 June 2010, just eight months after the release of their previous album, ''Röd'', but was released exclusively as digital download on the band's website on 23 June. The album is produced primarily with Swedish producer Stefan Boman, who worked with the band on ''Du & jag döden'' from 2005. The lead single, "Gamla Ullevi" / "Skisser för sommaren", was released on 14 June 2010, the same day as the band announced the album details. ''En plats i solen'' has peaked at number one in Sweden and Finland, number two in Norway and number four in Denmark. ''Box 1991–2008'' is a summary of Swedish alternative rock band Kent's career. The Box contains almost everything the group has ever recorded between 1991 and 2008. It contains every B-side, many demo recordings and every studio album. It also contains the first official live recording the group has ever made of a concert, a live recording of a new, previously unreleased song called "Håll ditt huvud högt" (''Hold your head high'') made during a concert in the band's hometown of Eskilstuna in July 2008. Joshua (record Producer)
Joshua (born Jon Schumann in 1971) is a Danish and Swedish Grammy-awarded music producer and mixing engineer from Denmark. He has produced for bands such as Kent, Kashmir, Mew, D-A-D and Carpark North. Joshua produced the 1999 breakthrough album by the Danish rock band Kashmir, '' The Good Life'', which gave him the "Danish Producer of the Year" award at the 2000 Danish Grammy Awards. He produced the albums ''Tillbaka till samtiden'' and ''Röd'' by the Swedish alternative rock band Kent, released in 2007 and 2009, respectively. For the latter he was awarded "Producer of the Year" at the 2010 Swedish Grammy Awards. In the spring of 2010 he produced three tracks on the band's ninth studio album '' En plats i solen'', released on 30 June. He currently resides in London, UK. Hjärta
"Hjärta" is a song by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released as the second single from the band's eighth studio album, ''Röd'', on 21 December 2009 as digital download. The single contains the album version of "Hjärta" including two additional remixes. Music video Kent made a music video for the song in collaboration with TV3's ''Efterlyst'', where at the end of the video information was shown about a number of people who had been missing for a long time.Kent gör video med TV3
