Régis Lavergne (born 28 January 1974) is a former professional tennis player from France. Biography Lavergne twice featured in the main draw on the ATP Tour, as a qualifier at back to back tournaments, the 1997 Grand Prix de Tennis de Toulouse and the Swiss Indoors in Basel. In both events he was beaten in the first round by countryman Fabrice Santoro. He competed in the singles qualifying draws of all four grand slam tournaments and appeared as a lucky loser in the doubles at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships partnering Stephane Simian. His other grand slam appearance was as a wildcard pairing with veteran Guy Forget in the men's doubles at the 1998 French Open. On the Challenger circuit he won two titles, both in doubles. The 1998 French Open was a tennis tournament that took place on the outdoor clay courts at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. The tournament was held from 25 May until 7 June. It was the 97th staging of the French Open, and the second Grand Slam tennis event of 1998. Yevgeny Kafelnikov and Daniel Vacek were the defending champions, but lost in the second round to Jordi Burillo and Marc-Kevin Goellner. Jacco Eltingh and Paul Haarhuis won the title by defeating Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 in the final. Stéphane Huet (born 25 April 1971) is a former professional tennis player from France. Huet appeared in a total of 16 Grand Slam tournaments during his career. When he made his Grand Slam tournament debut in the 1993 French Open, as a qualifier, he was ranked 297 in the world and had just one tour match to his name. Despite this, in the opening round he managed to defeat seventh-seed Ivan Lendl in four sets. It was the first time since 1978 that Lendl, a three-time French Open winner, had exited the tournament without registering a win. Jérôme Hanquez (11 March 1974 – 17 March 2020) was a French professional tennis player. Biography Hanquez was born in the Northern French town of Campagne-lès-Hesdin and started playing tennis at the age of nine. He had a win over Yevgeny Kafelnikov as a junior, when he made the round of 16 in the boys' singles at the 1992 French Open. From 1994, he competed professionally and went on to appear in the main draw of five ATP Tour tournaments, including two at Lyon.
